76.47% Flash Marriage: I Married The Alpha Lord Of Tyranny / Chapter 13: 013~ Divorced?

Kapitel 13: 013~ Divorced?

"Who are you getting rid of?" Sydney folded her hands, staring sternly at Zane. Not wanting to show any weakness, he breezed past her. She chased after him but he only ignored her questions and drove out.

"Talk about being rude." She scoffed and went back to the room. She couldn't help but feel that she was the one being spoken about. After all, the witch made it clear that she was useless to the alpha. But the biggest question is, what was she wanted for?

She wanted somebody to talk to but the only person who came to her head was Abel and she hadn't seen him since their last incident. The only thing she could do to take her mind off the whole drama was eat. That settled, she ambled to the kitchen, hoping to find something worth salivating for. She didn't meet any of the maids there but she did meet someone. One she had never seen for the past three days.

The girl had different color streaks on her hair and some tattoos on her arms and neck. She looked like what one would term 'a bad girl' but Sydney knew better than to judge.

"Who are you?" Sydney asked, treading closer toward her. The young girl just turned, glanced at her from head to toe, and looked away. When she didn't reply, Sydney poked her shoulder.

"Nice tattoo." She complimented but the girl only flared up, hitting her hand away.

"Don't touch me with those filthy hands. How did you get in here anyway?" She grouched with visible disgust written all over her face.

"Pfft! Filthy hands? Look who's talking. You should be glad I'm touching you." She scoffed, regretting why she tried talking to her in the first place. The young lady just walked over to the counter, grabbed her food, and walked out.

"Do you know where the maids are? I'm starving." Sydney followed her to the dining table but the young lady only rolled her eyes. She brought out her phone, just to avoid having a conversation with Sydney.

Giving up, Sydney just went into the kitchen and dished out some food for herself and ended up at the same table with the young lady.

"What is your name?" Sydney asked curiously, trying to start off again on a good note but the girl wasn't buying it.

"You can't keep being rude forever, you know."

"I think I can."

"Ina, you're skipping school again?" Clara yelled when she walked inside the living room.

"Is she your mother? You must have it pretty rough there." Ina mocked her, twitching her lips at the sight of Clara's angry face.

"My mother? Hell no. If she was, I would have probably run away from home. Kill joy." Sydney commented on the rhetorical question asked, making Ina smirk.

"Sister?" Ina squealed, the two of them bumping fists.

"I would have said you're a very bad influence on a sixteen-year-old but she's been at it before you even showed your face here. Go back to school Ina or your brother is going to hear of it." Clara cautioned her but Ina only mimicked her.

"He should hear of it. Not like he's going to do anything about it. It's my life and I will do whatever I want with it. Why don't you run along and look for some old fart to bother?" Ina stood up and wanted to leave.

"Hey, wait up." Sydney blocked her way.

"Move it or do you want to become my mom too?" Ina folded her hands with an arched brow.

"Chill, I just want to know the school you attend. This place is too boring and I could use a breather. It's been long I wrecked chaos on other kids." Sydney mused a smirk when she saw how interested Ina became in the discussion.

"Wow... You don't look like someone who likes trouble though. Fine, I'll tell you if you promise to let me in. Trouble is more therapeutic than peace, you know. Although, my 'mother' thinks otherwise. Let's go to my room."

Leaving Clara in her unsatisfied state, the duo carried their food and upstairs they went. Clara had been trying so hard to get on Ina's good side. That way, she would be sure to spend the rest of her life with the alpha but Sydney had to steal the show.

"Alright, I don't care if she's the alpha's bride to whatever, she has to go." She swore.

Zane couldn't concentrate on what he was asked to do. The worst part of it all was that he had been the one discarding all the girls who the witch had declared unfit for the alpha. He could still remember their pleas and cries of regret. They each cursed the alpha in their own way but he never stopped them. He only let them pour out their sorrow.

The good part for them was that they had a home to return. Sydney had none. He couldn't begin to phantom how terrible she would feel after knowing that she was stripped of her life all for nothing.

The alpha, being the cold man he usually is, had already arranged the divorce papers and asked Zane to deliver them.

"Make sure she leaves this place without turning back," Ryder spoke, clicking the tip of the fingers on the table.

"Didn't you hear me, beta?" He asked, seeing that Zane was hesitant.

"She has no home to return to." He replied simply.

"We can't just leave her stranded and alone."

"And how is that my business?"

"We took everything away from her. Sending her back like that would be inhumane."

"Again, how is that my business? Don't tell me you've developed a soft spot fot her." The alpha mused a small laughter but became serious when he saw that Zane wasn't smiling.

"Fine, go ahead and marry her then. I'm done with her but whatever happens, she is your responsibility."

Hearing that, Zane's eyes lit up. He picked up the divorce papers and headed out. He got to the pack house but it seemed almost empty without Sydney in sight. He asked the maids about her whereabouts and when he heard she was with the alpha's sister, Ina, he raced upstairs.

"Oh goodness, I hope they haven't ripped each other apart." He prayed but when he got to the door, he heard laughter. He was surprised and opened the door to confirm but something ended up landing on his face. It was a hairbrush.

"Serves you right for coming in without knocking, Zane," Ina yelled.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to make sure Sydney was okay." He massaged his nose and picked up the hairbrush.

"Also, I would like to steal her away for some time."

When the two of them, Zane and Sydney, had found somewhere quiet to discuss, he brought out the file and handed it over to her.

"What's this?" She asked, not wanting to open the file.

Zane spoke with his eyes, looking at the file in her hand. Reluctantly, she opened it only to find the heading of the document quite disturbing.

"Divorce papers?" She lifted her confused eyes to Zane.
