[ ......is human and mutant fusion.]
[let me explain. After coming in contact with mana normal animals and plants experienced tremendous changes in themselves. They become more complete in one sense or we can say they evolved towards a new or better direction. Some gain strength some become bigger some become weird and some get extraordinary abilities.]
[ humans also gained evolution after coming in contact with mana. While the changes were not obvious due to no proper training method or way for humans to use their mana efficiently compared to the mutants who were able to use mana right from the start.]
[Luckily humans found dungeons and figured out the way to use mana and fight against mutants.]
[ my point is why the mutants can use mana effectively from the start compared to humans. Why does the human body react differently compared to the mutants? Lots of research done on this question for centuries and still it is going on and will continue in future until someone can find the correct answer. What I found may not even be worth mentioning in front of those truly talented and devoted people in my field. But I want to continue working on my idea or I say my dream.]
[ I used all my savings and even took multiple loans for my dream. Soon all my money was spent on research as researching something means burning money to achieve results. Soon I found myself in a very hard spot. Almost like no way out of a swamp.]
[ due to my luck or Mother Earth has cast her eyes on me a strange organization contacted me. They offered to fund my research in exchange for my research rights. I was not in a situation where I could refuse so I accepted their offer. Anyway, I just want to complete my research. I have no desire for fame or money.]
[ thanks to their funding I was able to complete most of my research. They provided tremendous help to me. Even giving me some dangerous or illegal items. For my convince I built a secret lab in a dungeon for privacy and protection. For years I lived here without any problem. Just as things were going well and I was about to achieve success an accident happened.]
[ the dungeon I am staying at suddenly changed. Without any prior signal whole dungeon changed in an unknown direction. The lab where I am staying gets sealed due to dungeon changes. No matter how much I tried I could not open the door of the laboratory.]
[Who knows how much time passed but I continued to wait for rescue to arrive. As more time passed nobody came to my rescue. No federation nor that organization. As time went by I started to have some crazy thoughts. Finally one day I decided to take a rest.]

As the video ended the whole laboratory started to shake. One by one machines attached to the cylindrical tank-like thing started to turn on by themselves.
As the process concluded the cylindrical tank front cover started to move. The front portion divided into two equal parts and moved opposite from each other like opening a sliding door.
Thick smoke covered the insides of the tank. As the smoke cleared I looked in the tank. Inside the tank Is a very big thing quietly lying without any action. I moved closer to take a good look at it and used a scan to check what is it even knowing about it before.
Always be extra sure about things especially if you are a transmigrate. No one can tell how huge a butterfly effect can be created by making even the smallest changes.
The thing inside the tank has a body similar to the human but has some features of different animals. Instead of fingers, there are claws. Instead of normal legs, it has a huge hoof similar to the horse legs. Its upper body resembles the ape but not completely like the ape. Only its head is like a human without any added features.
If I were to make a comparison it looks like a troll or centor but with some different looks.
Soon the result of the scan arrived in front of me.

Roar ( E ) ( Active ) – roar to cause physical and spiritual damage to all surrounding creatures. If the willpower of the creature is low it falls into the confusion state for some time. Confusion time depends upon the willpower and the strength of the creature.
Weakness – core in the heart, brain, left leg joint.
Status – extremely weak due to long-term hibernation.

I looked at the incredible data on the screen and took a deep breath. Boss-level monsters are the strongest level monsters in low-rank dungeons. Till now nobody able to find this boss monster much less defeat it.
Due to the sheer amount of luck or plot armor original MC was able to find this place and able to defeat this boss. Even MC struggled to defeat this boss due to its high defense and high stats.
I am not as strong as MC nor do I have plot armor so I came prepared. I took out a bunch of things from the system space.

Description – light element added water causes high damage to opposite element creatures when coming in contact with it. This can be applied to the weapons to get the best results.

A bunch of similar stuff. All of these are the preparations I made to defeat this boss. Most of the things have light element mana which can cause high damage to this undead creature.
Before it wakes up I can kill it with all the stuff I have. Do the smart work, not the hard work. Just as I tried to use the consumables a message popped up in front of me.

[ attention to all people present in here. This area belongs to the boss of this dungeon. Due to the special reason, all consumable items which can directly cause damage to the boss are invalid to use. If any adventure breaks this rule they may face the punishment from the dungeon.]

I can not help myself from swearing after reading the dungeon message.
Every dungeon has its own system or operation module which controls all the activities in the dungeon. Except in some rare cases, this system does not actively interact with anybody no matter what you do. It remains silent even if you want to destroy the dungeon.
That exceptionally rare thing happened with me which is not good for me. Not in this situation. I was planning to bomb this monster to death from afar without risking my life but the dungeon will not allow me to do so.
What to do now? Think fast think damn it. Just as I raced my mind to come up with a solution for the current situation some changes appeared on the monster in the tank.
Its eyelids trembled. In some seconds both eyes of the monster opened. The monster put its hand on the tank door and pulled itself out of the tank.
Its total height is almost 3 meters high. I look like a child in front of it and I am above 6 feet.
Monster looked at its surroundings in confusion. It may be due to long-term hibernation its brain is not working at its full capacity. If not for this weak status this monster may be many times stronger than its current state.
In its peak state let alone defeating it even running from it will be impossible.
As soon as it spotted me monster stopped moving completely. As some seconds passed by my back was drenched due to the sweat as the monster continued to stare in my direction. Suddenly the monster let out a roar.
It must be its skill as the sound waves were produced from its roar. Due to sound waves, I get pushed away from the monster. In the short term, I felt dizzy but recovered in an instant. Fortunately, my willpower is strong enough to pass the test if not I may not know how did I die.
The monster saw my situation and started to run madly in my direction. This guy is using one skill after another. Hurriedly I got out of its charging path and increased the distance between us.
I used holy water on my sword and other similar stuff to boost my strength for a short amount of time. As I can not use consumables on this boss monster I will use them on me. The dungeon system also remained silent means I have not violated any rule.
I dodged another charge from the monster and slashed its back. My attack only left a small wound on its back.
Due to its talent, its skin is as hard as steel. Normal attacks are not that effective against it. Like cat and mouse, we played with each other for some time.
As time went by monsters attacking speed and strength seemed to be increasing.
I think its weak period is going to end soon.
I distanced myself from the monster.
I did not want to do this but I got no other choice.
I took out a special thing. A small bottle filled with boiling red-coloured liquid.

Description – after taking this potion a person gets an out boost in all stats for a short amount of time but after using it body will fall into a weak state for some time.

Gritting my teeth I opened the cap and drank all of the liquid in the bottle in one go.
A fiery aura burst inside my body. Every part of my body is filled with power.
I looked at the monster with a crazy expression on my face. With newfound and increased strength I charged towards the monster like a madman.
The role of hunter and prey has changed from this moment. Before my attacks only caused some swallow wounds to the monster now each of my attacks can cause big damage to it.
Like possessed by something I continued to slash at the monster without stopping. Today either I live or this monster lives. Let's decide who will emerge victorious and alive.
Me and the monster continued to fight brutally. Soon both of us get covered in each other's blood. My armour is damaged in lots of areas. Due to its high rank, it still held against the monster attacks.
As the monster charged at me instead of dodging like usual I ran towards the monster. Just as I was about to collide with the monster I ducked and moved towards its left leg.
With all my strength I attacked its left leg joint. The monster screamed in pain and fell on the floor. Before I can use this opportunity monster gets up using its hands as support.
As mentioned in the scan one of its weaknesses is its left leg joint. Due to the injury in the leg Monster's balance becomes unstable but the injury makes it more angry. Like a mad bull, it charged at me swinging its sharp claws in my direction.
Due to a leg injury during the charge monster lost its balance and how can I miss this opportunity?
I moved myself closer to its back and from the back side, I thrust my sword into the back of the monster. The real target of my sword is the core of the monster located inside its heart.
I think my sword hit something hard. I increased my strength and something broke inside the monster.
I let go of my sword and backed away from the monster. The monster started to roar madly in pain.
Its voice started to weaken and stopped completely at some point. Its massive body falls onto the floor. Its whole body turned into light particles and disappeared into the wind. On its position, a golden chest appeared shining in bright light.
Before I could celebrate my victory my eyes went blank and I lost consciousness.

In a quiet lab sound of footsteps rang clearly.
