She had told Loui that she was going to work on a project with Jack, so she wouldn't come home every day like in the past. Louis was very sad that her best friend was partially moving out but she didn't voice her feelings out to her because if she did, Kay would stay.

When Loui had nightmares, Kay was always by her side. Now Kay needed her to let her do her thing so she wouldn't hold her friend back. She was the reason Kay came to Sylvester College. Normally, Kay wanted to go to the same university as Andrew even before she and Andy met.

"Hi," Kay breathed, standing at his penthouse's doorstep.

The man leaned against the door frame, a lazy smile on his face. "About time you showed up, Hastings. We have a lot of work to do."

"Oh shut it, professor. The only reason I agreed to this was because we needed to finish the new security system for Rory and Nate's sake." Oliver moved to the side, allowing Kay to enter his home.
