Kapitel 43: You Underestimate Me, Young Lady

A frown appeared on Sawyer's forehead as he heard that.

"That bastard... I mean, that man could actually do that?" Sawyer asked, trying to contain his anger towards her ex.

"Hmm, his reputation in construction has skyrocketed recently. His company has become a dark horse in the industry. While he may not be compared to the ten big companies, he still holds enough influence to block me from working at another firm."

Abigail smiled, imagining her future plan. She was waiting for Urbangrid Innovation's eventual downfall. She was confident that they would go bankrupt once they failed to secure and deliver any significant projects in the future. 

When that happened, she could return to the industry without any worries, establish her own company, and recruit all the good people in Urbangrid to join her newly built company.
