Kapitel 37: Chapter 37

Ain really wanted to turn around and knock these two bastards with one blow.

What's wrong with a swordsman? She is a swordsman at the moment! What? Do you believe that a mere swordsman like me can't kill you two losers with one blow?

"Ain, Ain? What are you thinking about? I'm calling you."

Luffy's call pulled her out of her thoughts. She apologized quickly and looked at Luffy, waiting for his order.

"You lead the first team to deal with them. Remember to protect the hostages to prevent those guys from taking desperate measures."

"Yes!"

After saluting and accepting the order, Ain turned around and shouted to the people who had been impatient for a long time:

"The first team, follow me, the rest of you, get ready to finish."

"oh——!"

Led by Ain, the first team of 10 people took off into the air, stepping with moonwalk to approach the pirate ship.

The remaining team members were all envious, secretly annoyed that they were unlucky not to be selected.

Ain, after rapidly approaching the pirate ship, faced the pirates' terrified and confused eyes.

With a flash of cold light, she easily cut several cannons in half. Swish, swish, swish - a series of breaking sounds fell, and by the time the pirates reacted, 11 marine officers had already boarded the deck and surrounded them.

Ain pointed his sword at one of the pirates and shouted coldly:

"Kill! Leave no one alive!"

After saying that, she rushed towards the pirates first.

The others were not willing to lag behind, and they drew their weapons or rushed forward with bare hands.

They slaughtered the pirates in a crushing manner.

The captain named Dingo watched this scene in horror. Seeing his own people being slaughtered so easily, he hurriedly shouted anxiously:

"Stop, which branch are you from?

Brother Arlong and I are friends, and we pay tribute every month. You can't do anything to me!"

Ain frowned, she heard something wrong in the other party's words.

But she didn't hold back, and after killing a guy who was in the way with a sword, she turned and rushed towards Dingo.

Seeing that the other party had no intention of showing mercy, Dingo was also annoyed.

Throwing away the dagger in his hand toward Ain, he quickly reached for the musket at his waist and tried to make a final struggle.

But Ain just lightly poked the dagger with the blade, and then quickly slashed it.

Dingo covered his neck in disbelief, and fell down with unwilling eyes.

Ignoring the remaining pirates, Ain put Yubashiri without a trace of blood into the sheath.

Then she walked towards the orange-haired girl who was staring at her with wide eyes and horror.

"Are you okay? I'll help you untie the ropes."

The gentle woman in front of her and the beautiful look of killing her opponent with a single sword just now formed a strong contrast. Nami, who should have been happy to be alive, was so stunned that she even forgot to thank him.

It was not until Ain untied the ropes on her hands and feet, helped her up from the ground, and began to check her up and down that Nami came to her senses and thanked her repeatedly.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you very much for saving me, I almost thought I was going to die."

Looking at the frightened little girl distressed, Ain touched her head and looked at the deck full of corpses.

She frowned, blocked the girl's eyes, and picked her up from the deck.

"Close your eyes and don't look. I'll take you to the warship."

As she said that, she jumped into the air again and stepped on the air to return to the warship.

Nami suddenly felt empty under her feet and gusts of cold wind blew across her face.

She curiously avoided Ain palm and looked down.

At one glance, she was so scared that she almost screamed.

But before she could make a sound, Ain landed on the warship and put her down from her arms.

'This, I, she...What on earth just happened?'

Nami was dizzy and confused.

A series of events happened too fast and too abnormally for her brain to process for a while, and she felt dizzy. She shook her head to get rid of the mess, and suddenly opened her eyes wide to react.

"Me, I'm on a warship?!"

"Yes, you are safe now. Wait a minute, I will ask the doctor to check you again."

Ain comforted her gently, thinking that the little girl might be frightened by the pirates, so he called the ship's doctor to check her.

"How is she? Is she injured?"

Luffy came over from the side. Although he looked at Nami twice more because of her orange hair, he didn't recognize her at first. This is the quirky little thief Nami in the original book.

"There are no obvious scars on the outside, maybe she was just frightened, she should be fine."

Ain shook his head.s

Luffy nodded without saying anything more. It is normal for a civilian to be frightened when she falls into the hands of pirates.

He turned to the team members who surrounded him and said:

"Stop looking, bring the ship over and bring back all the supplies and treasures.

Took a photo of the captain as proof and threw all the bodies into the sea.

Also tell me how many pirates there are so I can report to the headquarters."

'Headquarters? '

Nami moved her ears while being examined by the doctor, and looked at the strange marine men who were rushing towards the pirate ship with a roar, thinking

"Little sister, you are okay. I have some candies. Eating something sweet will make you feel better."

"Ah, thank you, Mr. Doctor."

After thanking the doctor and accepting his kindness,

Nami wanted to chat with him for a few more words.

But the doctor suddenly became a different person, pulling out his musket and rushing onto the pirate ship with ghosts howling, as if he was afraid of being too late.

"Taylor is an idiot, how can a ship's doctor rush to the front line?"

Nami heard the marine brother who issued the order cursed.

Looking at his unique suit and cloak of justice, Nami guessed that he should be the captain of this warship.

Summoning up her courage, Nami stepped forward and whispered:

"that...Mr. Marine, thank you very much for saving me. Can you tell me your name?"

"It's okay. It's our duty to protect civilians. My name is Luffy, Marine HQ Lieutenant Commander, the captain of this warship."

Facing a little girl who had just escaped from danger, Luffy also showed his kindness.

This made Nami feel relieved. At least they were not the kind of marine scum who bullied others by taking advantage of their power.

After answering the little girl, Luffy tilted his head and looked at her carefully. The more he looked at her, the more familiar she looked.

So he squatted down and asked curiously:

"Little sister, What's your name? How old are you this year? Where is your home? I'll take you home."

Looking at the handsome face of the young Lieutenant Commander in front of her, Nami thought for a while but still didn't tell the whole truth.

"My name is Nami, I'm 13 years old, and I live in Filippo Island."

Puff~

Luffy was not surprised to learn that the person in front of him was Nami, one of the protagonists.

Ain's laughter interrupted his thoughts.

"Hehe, you keep calling her a little sister, but after all this time you are actually not even as old as her."

"Ah, this..."
