Kapitel 15: Chapter 15 – Getting Attention
If the press gathered today, then I had to prevent the USJ incident. I had no confidence going against Nomu or whatever monster All For One cooked for All Might. That monster was insanely strong, and its regeneration ability was beyond imagination.
However, I had an ace up my sleeve.
'Come on, don't mess up this timeline.'
It was my knowledge about the future.
And I would have All Might to maintain his strength until his first duel against All For One to kill him for good. That way, Japan's destruction could be avoided, and the peace could be maintained for a long time.
The worst case scenario was the fall of civilization as All For One tried to destroy everything in his path to gain more power. Even the Hero society would fall apart with such a chaotic situation.
Thinking about that, I walked to the campus. It wasn't far from here, and I didn't need to use public transportation.
When I arrived, I saw many people gathered. Cameras and reporters were everywhere, and the students were getting nervous as they were bombarded with questions.
Seeing it, I immediately activated my quirk to hide from them. As expected, my body became transparent like a ghost as I made my way into the building unnoticed.
Among them was Shigaraki, the source of trouble and the mastermind of this whole operation. He was staring at the building with a grin on his face.
'Not today.'
I went behind him and whispered in his ear, "Don't ever try to destroy the gate, Shigaraki Tomura. Or should I call you Tenko Shimura?"
He froze at my words as he turned around in shock. He scanned the area frantically but couldn't find me. His eyes, dark and clouded with madness, looked like a snake as he looked at the ground in disbelief.
"Who is there?! Come out!" He shouted as he scratched his neck nervously. Blood trickled down his neck as he whispered in anger, "Who the fuck are you? Show yourself, you fucking coward!"
I could feel his fear from his words, fueling my power. With him being like this, my chance to lose against him was close to nonexistent.
He would no longer be able to touch me. But right now, I was also unable to touch him. Not in front of many cameras.
"I warned you, Tenko Shimura. This place is not yours to touch."
"Grrrr, stop playing tricks on me! You bastard! Come out and fight me like a man!"
His anger increased, and his fear seemed to heighten as well. I smirked as I lowered my voice.
"If you keep doing that, I will sneak into your bedroom, steal your dad's hand, and cut your neck while you sleep. Let me know if you want me to make good on my threats."
He whirled around and searched for me frantically again. His breathing became erratic as he struggled to control himself.
Many reporters now noticed his presence and started questioning him. But he ignored them as he looked for me among the crowd.
At that moment, Aizawa and Midnight arrived and shooed the press away. They must have had enough or got ordered by Nezu to chase them away.
Shigaraki cursed and walked away from the scene with a scowl on his face. He still didn't know where I was, but he knew that I was watching him.
I waited until he was gone before releasing my quirk and showing myself in front of the teachers.
"Whoa, that was close. I thought that I wouldn't be able to enter the campus. Thank you for chasing them away, Aizawa-sensei."
"Saiki, huh? Stop doing tricks and enter. I won't praise you for confusing the pers. You are just wasting time. And it's dangerous."
I nodded and smiled at him as I entered the building with him and Midnight.
Aizawa gave me a suspicious look as he noticed my behavior. But he didn't say anything and just walked away with me following behind him.
They looked pretty worried. I guessed they noticed that it wasn't normal at all. So, I decided to bring it up.
"Sensei, do you think someone planned this?"
"Probably." Aizawa narrowed his eyes as he glanced at me. "I don't know what you're talking about, but someone leaked the information that All Might was going to teach here. That is highly unusual."
"And there is someone suspicious among the crowd. A pale-haired guy who looks like a zombie or something." Midnight added with a frown on her face. "We must be careful."
I nodded at their words, "I know who you are talking about. And yeah, I agree."
Unlike in the anime, they were really smart and cautious. They had their guard up all the time, even with me being there. They must have seen through me somehow, but they didn't expose me yet.
'And now, Nezu will put his eyes on me.'
If that principal made his move right now, I was sure the League of Villain would have a hard time. Besides, his morals weren't just based on good or bad. He was more of an opportunist, using whatever he could get his paws on to win the game. That was why I took a gamble by revealing myself to the teachers.
While we walked to our classroom, Aizawa said to me, "Go back to the classroom. Don't do anything weird anymore."
"Yes, sorry about that."
I waved at him and Midnight as I walked away from them.
Today was going to be a long day.
