The creature stood thousands of meters long, its entire body cloaked in darkness, with fiery red light glowing from the gaps between its scales. Its wings, sharp and broad like massive blades, dominated the prokaryotic world.
Its head was triangular, covered in dark red scales, with a slightly curved forehead that resembled the black edge of a scythe. Dense, mysterious red markings covered this horn-like protrusion. Its neck was short, but its body was muscular and powerful, exuding an aura of immense strength. Wang Yi couldn't help but think that this creature, though reptilian, resembled a mutated kangaroo with its lean yet muscular limbs. Bone spurs like blades jutted out from its elbows and knee joints.
Its forelimbs had only three fingers, each tipped with a fifty-meter-long, sharp, knife-like claw. These claws could extend further, up to the length of its body. The tail was perhaps the most impressive feature, extending half the length of its body and tapering into a razor-sharp point, like a spear.
On its chest, a diamond-shaped crystal embedded within was surrounded by intricate fiery red patterns, the design becoming denser towards the center until it formed a pitch-black dot. Its eyes, burning with a red light that devoured everything in its sight, radiated a heat so intense that the surrounding air shimmered and distorted, as if it were standing in the midst of a volcano.
It felt like a pure killing machine.
This was the Flame Star Beast, one of the twelve pinnacle bloodlines among the Star Beasts, and the fastest-growing species within that lineage.
Its insatiable hunger fueled its rapid growth, as its food source was none other than the stars scattered throughout the universe. All it needed to do was sleep on a star and consume it, steadily growing larger with time. This insatiable appetite made the Flame Star Beast the fastest-growing of all Star Beasts.
Yet, there were other ways for it to accelerate its growth—by devouring rare treasures that could boost its development, particularly those infused with fire-related attributes such as minerals, crystals, and other precious materials.
Like the Golden Horned Beast, the Flame Star Beast had its own pronucleus and a corresponding inner world from birth. However, instead of a metallic continent, the Flame Star Beast's world was one of molten lava and volcanic activity. As its inner world expanded, so too would its strength.
While the average Golden Horned Behemoth's body would reach around 100 meters in length at the first level of the Stellar leevel stage, the Flame Star Beast would be twice as large, meaning a seventh-Stellar level Flame Star Beast would easily exceed 1,400 meters in length. Among the Star Beasts, it was the largest in size, and a fully matured Flame Star Beast could rival the size of an actual star.
Because Wang Yi had conceived this behemoth through its pronucleus and not through soul possession or other means, this Flame Star Behemoth, despite being born at the seventh level of the Stellar level stage, lacked the inherited memories of previous generations. It possessed only its inherent talents.
The Flame Star Beast had three natural secret abilities: the cultivation ability "Absorption," the combat ability "Flaming Star," and the life-saving ability "Star Stream Fire."
The cultivation secret, "Absorption," allowed the Flame Star Beast to endure extreme heat and rapidly absorb star energy to fuel its growth. While classified as a cultivation method, it could also reduce external damage—any attack that didn't exceed ten times the beast's defense would be weakened to just one-tenth of its impact.
This talent made the Flame Star Behemoth's defense incredibly fearsome, only rivaled by the physical toughness of the "Mountain-Splitting Giant," another peak-bloodline Star Beast.
The combat ability "Flaming Star" enabled the beast to enlarge itself tenfold, with corresponding increases in strength and defense. As its body expanded, the temperature around it also rose dramatically, reaching such extreme levels that most opponents at the same level would be incinerated on contact.
The most fearsome talent, however, was the "Star Stream Fire," the Flame Star Beast's ultimate life-saving technique. By focusing all its energy and activating its secret patterns, the behemoth could create a devastating explosion similar to nuclear fusion, unleashing unimaginable destructive power.
The aftermath of such an explosion was similar to the detonation of a "Fire God Source Crystal," a powerful object capable of unleashing vast amounts of flame energy in an instant. The resulting blast could even kill ordinary immortals.
But the Flame Star Beast's explosion was even more terrifying. If a Flame Star Beast at the peak of the World master stage self-detonated using this secret technique, the resulting power would be hundreds of times greater than a typical "Fire God Source Crystal," potentially even gravely injuring or killing an immortal.
At the moment of detonation, the beast's pronucleus would use a special space technique to teleport far from the battlefield, allowing it to escape and continue its life elsewhere. This technique was the beast's final lifeline.
Only in the direst circumstances would the Flame Star Beast use this ability, as it came with significant risks to itself. Its pronucleus was unique, and while it could regenerate over time if the soul remained intact, too much damage to its soul could result in the beast reverting to an egg and wandering the universe until it was reborn.
These three talents—"Absorption," which allowed for growth and reduced damage; "Flaming Star," which increased size, strength, and heat control; and "Star Stream Fire," which could trigger a devastating explosion while the pronucleus escaped—made the Flame Star Beast a formidable force.
"Unfortunately, there's no soul inheritance or cultivation technique for the Flame Star Beast," Wang Yi thought, observing the massive black-and-red beast as it moved within the vast space of his pronucleus world. Its blood-red eyes, glowing like molten lava, blinked slowly.
"We'll have to see if I can find the cultivation methods for the Flame Star Beast elsewhere," he mused.
Wang Yi couldn't help but be awestruck by the sheer power and destructive potential of the Flame Star Beast.
His current human form had a genetic level that was only three times stronger, thanks to the first tribulation of the Nine Tribulations Secret Technique. In contrast, the Flame Star Beast's genetic level was ten times that.
"If I can successfully have the Flame Star Beast cultivate the first tribulation of the Nine Tribulations Secret Code, it will reach a genetic level of thirty times!" Wang Yi thought, trying to suppress his excitement.
Most immortal beings had a genetic level of around ten times, but the Flame Star Beast could potentially reach thirty times that, making its physical strength far greater than most beings at the same level in the universe.
The Nine Tribulations Secret Technique was risky, and failure could result in serious consequences, but with the Flame Star Beast being just a clone, Wang Yi had little to lose. It could always be resurrected in the pronucleus, giving him infinite attempts without risking permanent damage.
All Wang Yi had to do was wait patiently for the Flame Star Beast to achieve thirty times the genetic level.
For now, his next focus was to invest all his resources into the beast's growth.
Like the Golden Horned Beast, the Flame Star Beast's power would continue to increase as its inner world expanded, allowing it to break through continuously.
Unlike his human self, Wang Yi didn't have to worry about suppressing the behemoth's strength—it was free to grow as much as possible.
"Ha! Millions of mixed yuan units! I'll throw everything into its growth and see just how far the Flame Star Beast can evolve in the coming years!"
The Flame Star Beast's excited roar echoed throughout the prokaryotic world, shaking its very foundations.
