Kapitel 13: No longer weak; An Omega's uprising

Third person's POV

Aiden's knees burned against the rough stone floor of the training grounds. His hands, raw and blistered, gripped the coarse brush as he scrubbed tirelessly. The sun beat down mercilessly, turning the vast expanse of the grounds into a sweltering prison.

From the corners of his eyes, he could see Chloe fighting the warriors, effortlessly at another part of the training grounds. 

As Aiden worked, every movement sent waves of pain through his body. The lashes on his back pulled and stung with each scrub. A sickening sheen was created on his skin as blood mixed with sweat. 

"This is nothing compared to what I used to do in my pack ... Really nothing to what I have undergone." He mumbled under his breathe as he kept going. That was to encourage himself to not think too much of it and be bothered about being alone.
