Kapitel 94: Chapter 78: Infinite Magic! Holy Demon Dragon!!

"The endless slaughter among the chess soldiers truly does lead to evolution."

Rhodes watched the dark knight astride a warhorse. The figure in pitch-black armor stood tall, gripping a menacing lance. His aura was leagues above that of the ordinary black knights—an overwhelming presence that radiated power.

"This guy… could probably wipe the floor with all the soldiers here," Rhodes muttered, his gaze sharp.

"Begin. Clear out the entire forest." With his command, the dark-armored knight led two black chess soldiers to sweep the left flank. Meanwhile, three golden chess soldiers advanced on the right.

The forest, once lush and green, fell into shadow and radiant golden light, the two opposing forces consuming the terrain in a visible wave of destruction.

The armies grew larger with every clash, expanding at a snowballing pace.

No one knew how much time had passed before the transformation was complete.

---

A black lance pierced through the chest of a green tyrannosaurus, unleashing a devastating burst of energy.

Darkness consumed everything.

The dark matter enveloping the knight's body shimmered ominously before dissipating. Where his horse once stood, now a pair of jet-black wings unfurled, and in his grip burned a sword engulfed in black flames.

"A fallen angel with two wings," Rhodes murmured, marveling at the re-evolved black chess soldier.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, an explosion of dazzling golden light erupted. A knight clad in radiant silver armor astride a unicorn emerged from the brilliance. Holy light radiated from him, melting away the heterochromatic creatures in his vicinity.

As the knight absorbed even more energy, he too transformed. Snow-white wings sprouted from his back, and the blade in his hand emanated a soothing warmth.

"A fallen angel and a holy angel," Rhodes mused aloud. "Demonic power and divine light. The contrast is fascinating."

These two evolved soldiers had reached near-legendary strength.

However, the forest was now barren. From above, the land was split in two—a stark contrast of gold and black stretching across the terrain like a chessboard.

Rhodes checked his system interface and noticed something new.

"Looks like the sign-in count has refreshed. Has an entire day passed already?"

He glanced up at the perpetual daylight above. In this wonderland, there was no concept of night or time.

---

[Ding! Sign-in successful!]

[Reward: The Seven Deadly Sins of Gluttony – Infinite Magic Power]

Infinite Magic Power: All spells released by the user will last forever. Flames will burn endlessly, and ice will never melt.

---

Rhodes couldn't help but grin. "Finally."

Among the countless magic abilities in the world of the Seven Deadly Sins, few were as absurdly broken as this. Infinite magic meant never having to worry about running out of power. Coupled with the right spells, it could effectively turn someone immortal.

"Now, if I could just get that artifact, Star Aldan..." he muttered wistfully, imagining the gluttonous artifact said to hold thousands of engraved spells.

But for now, infinite magic alone was more than enough.

With his power at a new peak, Rhodes turned to his chess soldiers. "Time for a field test."

---

The two armies, black and gold, moved out, marching toward the desert and ocean bordering the forest. The creatures of these regions rose to defend their territory, but they were no match for the relentless assault.

Under the onslaught, vast stretches of sand and sea were dyed black and gold. The armies swelled, their ranks now numbering over 10,000.

Ten fallen angels and ten holy angels led the charge, each commanding a legion of a thousand soldiers.

After purging these regions, only two factions remained—the Red Chess Queen and the White Chess Queen, the rulers of this chess world.

"Quantity aside, the gap in individual combat power is too wide," Rhodes observed. "This should be enough."

Even if his soldiers were somehow wiped out, he still had himself.

---

In the pristine, snow-white palace, Queen White stood atop her castle. Draped in an elegant gown, her icy gaze was fixed on the forest, now a chaotic expanse of gold and black.

"Such vile, filthy colors," she muttered, disgust curling her lips.

She turned to her generals. "Summon the First Pale Legion. Cleanse the forest. Eliminate these abominations."

Her voice was cold, but urgency laced her command. She couldn't allow these encroaching hues to taint her kingdom any further.

---

Meanwhile, in the fiery red palace, the Red Chess Queen lounged on her throne, clad in crimson armor. She chuckled, her tone dripping with amusement.

"Interesting. Someone bold enough to challenge the queens of this world?"

She waved her hand lazily. "Send out the First Legion of Hearts. Test them. If they're weak, destroy them."

Though she disliked the White Queen, she wasn't about to let a third power disrupt the balance of the chess world.

---

Rhodes smirked as two massive armies—one white, one red—marched toward his forces. "Took them long enough."

Though the numbers of his opponents rivaled his own, their strength was another matter entirely.

"Devour them," he ordered.

The black and gold legions surged forward, clashing with their enemies. The battlefield became a bloodbath, but it was clear which side held the upper hand. The Red and White soldiers fell in droves, their remnants absorbed into the ever-growing tide of Rhodes' forces.

Suddenly, two earth-shaking roars echoed across the battlefield.

A fallen angel, bathed in black matter, transformed into a ferocious, shadowy dragon. Opposite, a holy angel radiating golden light emerged as a majestic, gleaming dragon.

Two legendary creatures now led the charge, and the tide of battle became unstoppable.

---

"Chess just turned into backgammon," Rhodes quipped, his gaze fixed on the White Kingdom. He preferred red, so he'd deal with white first.

As the two dragons roared and unleashed torrents of black and golden flames, the borders of the White Kingdom were consumed in chaos.

In her castle, Queen White clenched her fists, fury etched across her face. "You dare challenge me?!"

Before she could act, a screech pierced the air. A massive crimson phoenix descended, followed by an army of red soldiers.

"White Queen, how pathetic," mocked the Red Queen, stepping into view. "But as much as I dislike you, I hate him more."

Rhodes glanced at the two queens with a calm smile. "Perfect. Let's see how far you both can go."
