Kapitel 40: The 40th Chapter: Expulsion

Xia Li no longer looked at the corpse on the ground, lightly speaking to the four petrified people, "Let's go, back to the hotel."

The four of them snapped out of their trance.

Qi Hao closed his gaping mouth, "Ah, right, right, right—back to the hotel! Back to the hotel!"

Ji Xing retracted his gaze, complex emotions fleeting across his face, and coolly turned to walk out.

Xu Siming nodded slightly, "Yeah, back to the hotel."

Ji Wanwan looked towards Xia Li, and as she had done in the past at school, extended her hand, "Let's go, back to the hotel."

Looking at the soft white hand before her, Xia Li's eyelashes trembled, and, as if posessed, she reached out her hand.

Leaving the small house, Xia Li instinctively looked back.

This was the place where she had lived all her life, but it had now become a place she never wanted to return to.

She turned to Ji Wanwan, "Got a light?"

Ji Wanwan was slightly taken aback, then took out a lighter from System Space, "Here."
