Watching the danger recede, the atmosphere in the chat group lightened up again, everyone just waiting for the ban to be lifted.

Ye Nai quickly called her mother, who still decided to return home for dinner, telling her older daughter to cook some rice noodles at will, and she would bring back a bag of buns and steamed buns.

After the battle in the afternoon, she had also confirmed something, that "superpower spores" grew and proliferated into a large amount of Fungal Mycelium to aid in the fight, and before the battle, more than one person had passed by Building 16, yet not a single one noticed any abnormal superpower fluctuation. Either they were not focused on this, or her spores and fungi truly couldn't be detected or seen, and her Fungal Mycelium...
Ye Nai suddenly realized that her assumption that Fungal Mycelium could be seen with the naked eye was based on common knowledge.
In fact, she had never truly experimented to see if the Fungal Mycelium spawned from her superpower spores could be seen by others.
If her spores, fungi, and Fungal Mycelium truly couldn't be detected, measured, or even seen, then how terrifying a weapon could her superpower be?
Thinking that such a wonderful thing had happened to her, Ye Nai, who was washing vegetables and cooking rice noodles in the kitchen, chuckled with giddy joy.
Half an hour later, her mother returned home with her siblings, and the family discussed the many mutant earthworm-like abnormal creatures that had emerged in the neighborhood while eating. Even the youngest sister guessed whether those worms had made nests under the neighborhood.
Ye Nai also found it strange, wondering how it could be the breeding season in such hot weather, but the pile of eggs collected from Space was undeniably real, and anything that could be decomposed, transformed, and absorbed by the Fungus must be organic matter.
However, she didn't dwell on this question for long; after all, these were abnormal creatures and couldn't be regarded with the same understanding as ordinary ones. As someone with only a high school education, she didn't have the intellect to analyze the underlying reasons.
After dinner was the usual chaotic time at home, with her siblings too excited about today's events to sit still and do their homework. Her mother had to take care of her father, Ye Nai had to do chores and squeeze in time to urge her siblings to do their homework, all of which kept her incredibly busy.
But taking advantage of the commotion, Ye Nai threw two spores on the old, yellow leaves she peeled while washing vegetables and left them on the kitchen countertop, pretending to wait until she was less busy to throw them into the compost bin.
In her vision, those two spores quickly grew and multiplied into a large patch, completely covering the few vegetable leaves.
The restless younger siblings, who kept running to the kitchen for water, wasted half an hour just by taking turns to refill their cups. The spore-covered vegetable leaves were only a short distance from them, yet no one glanced at them even once.
Ye Nai didn't know if they truly couldn't see it or had simply not noticed.
The experiment failed. Ye Nai recalled the spores and threw the remaining vegetable leaves into the compost bin. Next time, she would try it in a more crowded place.
