Instead, she rushed towards the dormitory building, hurried up the stairs to the roof, and looked out towards the unknown creature in the night, following the direction of the searchlights.

Just then, her mobile phone rang. It was Captain Mei.

"Ye Nai, where are you?" The voice on the other end was accompanied by the sound of running breaths and wind.

"I'm on the roof of the dormitory building."

"Good, stay in the camp. If there's danger, run on your own. Do you know where the nearest bunker is?"

"Yes, don't worry about me."
