Aidehynn's Point Of View
My mind was reeling with the news that Lyukhe had just spoke of. I couldn't fathom how this news hadn't been blasting all over Delgahtowe. This was critical news to be sure. Duhtchies all over would be clamoring to ensure their fundings wouldn't dry out. There would be a succession crisis, due to Danhiel not having a mate or child. I couldn't wrap my head around all the secrecy.
Then it dawned on me... Why Danhiel was so desperate for Tristan. Why he was acting so irrational and baiting the Kings. It made sense why he wanted to risk a war. I looked up at Tristan worried, but he just looked extremely confused.
"Lyukhe are you positive about this?" I asked.
"Yes. His son, Danhiel is trying to cover it up for as long as possible, since he doesn't have Tristan." Lyukhe replied.
