By the time they returned to the castle, it was already evening.

Kael was carrying his suitcase, following behind Dumbledore.

As soon as they entered, they heard Professor McGonagall's furious roar from a nearby corridor.

"George, Fred!"

"How dare you!"

"Using dungbombs in the corridor? Attacking Slytherin students?"

"And you even added chili powder to the dungbombs?"

"If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it!"

"Do you realize that because of you, seven students had to be sent to the hospital wing?"

"That includes one Ravenclaw and two Hufflepuff students who were caught in the crossfire!"

...

"Professor McGonagall, we were just researching how young wizards can effectively defend against malicious dark wizards when they're low on magic!"

"This is a noble and grand project."

"Fred is right, Professor. The Ministry of Magic should give us the Order of Merlin for such an important study!"

...

"An award? The Order of Merlin?"

"Listen, I'll be writing to Mrs. Weasley right now to have her come and see what her good sons have done!"

"Now, come with me. Detention, three months, not a day less!"

Listening to Professor McGonagall's angry voice, Kael couldn't help but cover his face.

The twins were quick learners, no doubt!

But…

What exactly were they thinking?

How could they possibly try reasoning with a woman?

...

"Are all Hogwarts students this immature?" Cassandra asked, visibly shocked.

"Chili powder in dungbombs?"

"And they want to apply for the Order of Merlin?"

"Of course not!" Kael straightened his face. "I have no idea what those two are thinking."

"It's just some silly pranks."

"But I believe most Hogwarts students, like me, are upright and kind, never engaging in such pranks."

"Oh..."

Cassandra nodded, though her eyes were still full of suspicion.

Dumbledore, too, had a look of doubt in his eyes. He found the twins' speaking style strangely familiar, but he had more pressing matters to attend to.

"Alright, Miss Vole, let Kael take you to your dormitory. I have other things to handle."

"He'll give you your timetable as well."

"By the way, he's your first-year Slytherin prefect!"

"Yes, thank you for your care today, Professor Dumbledore," Cassandra politely bowed slightly.

"Oh, no need to be so formal."

"By the way, Kael, we'll continue practicing the Patronus Charm tomorrow afternoon."

"Got it, Professor!"

...

The three parted ways.

Since there was still some time before dinner, Kael took Cassandra to the Slytherin dormitories.

"Slytherin's dormitory is located underground. Though it might seem a bit damp, we have a great view of the Black Lake from the common room."

"And the Hogwarts kitchen is on the same level, with over a hundred house-elves."

"They're always extra friendly to young wizards."

"If you get hungry at night, just let me know, and we'll grab a midnight snack together!"

Along the way, Kael enthusiastically introduced Cassandra to the academy.

After all, she was a hard-won free helper, and he had to protect her well!

"Hmph, I got it!" Cassandra, though feeling cared for, kept her usual aloof attitude, only nodding slightly in response.

[Ding! Detecting joy!]

[Ding! Drawing a treasure chest for the host!]

[Ding! Congratulations, the host has received a Silver Chest!]

...

"What's the atmosphere like in Slytherin?"

"And the students' level?"

Honestly, she was a bit nervous.

Adults in wizarding families didn't tell their children much about school life. They wanted their kids to explore it independently.

So, despite knowing she would spend the next seven years at Hogwarts, Cassandra didn't know much about it.

"The atmosphere?" Kael paused.

"They seem pretty united, but as for the students' level, I'd say they're probably a bit better than those from the other three houses."

"After all, most are from pure-blood families, right?"

"And what about you? I heard from Professor Dumbledore that you're a first-year prefect?"

Cassandra asked, teasingly smiling at Kael.

She felt that Kael was a complete mystery, and she couldn't help but want to learn more about him.

"Of course. It's common knowledge that I'm the most kind-hearted and upright student at Hogwarts."

"I didn't even want to be the prefect, but everyone insisted. I couldn't refuse."

"In Chinese culture, they say it's about 'conquering people through virtue'."

"It means winning others over with moral character," Kael shrugged.

As they spoke, they arrived in front of a stone wall.

Unlike the portrait of the Fat Lady at the entrance to the Gryffindor common room, the Slytherin dorm entrance was a solid stone wall.

"Pureblood supremacy!" Kael said the password to the wall.

"You need to remember the password. It changes every week, and the new password is posted on the common room notice board a day in advance."

"But don't worry if you forget; the kind-hearted Kael is always ready to assist a beautiful girl like you!"

"Hmph!" Cassandra snorted softly.

[Ding! Detecting joy!]

[Ding! Drawing a treasure chest for the host!]

[Ding! Congratulations, the host has received a Golden Chest!]

...

As expected!

Hearing the system prompt, Kael had finally confirmed the right way to farm treasure chests with Cassandra.

But just to be safe, he decided to test it further.

"Of course, this service isn't free. Each time will cost you ten Galleons. Fair price, no deception!"

Cassandra: "???"

[Ding! Detecting anger!]

[Ding! Drawing a treasure chest for the host!]

[Ding! Congratulations, the host has received a Silver Chest!]

...

Okay!

Verified: complimenting Cassandra results in a Golden Chest!

But deliberately irritating her only gets a Silver Chest!

So, comparing the two, the conclusion is clear...

Compliment her first, then add a little twist.

That's how to maximize the rewards!
