Surrounding the vortex was thick and frightening spiritual energy that seemed to transform into the most dangerous of weapons under the high-speed rotation of the vortex. Even supreme beings would risk being shredded apart if caught within this storm, with only the most highly-skilled supremely powerful beings capable of withstanding it.
At the heart of the storm, a giant archaic dragon, stretching thousands of feet, lay horizontally, enveloped in purple luminescence, exuding an aura of nobility at first glance. Terrifying dragon might radiated from within, causing even the domineering spiritual energy around to falter in its flow.
At that moment, the originally blue sky in the distance turned crimson, as a tide of blood surged forth, arriving in mere breaths to this stormy scene.
A middle-aged man clad in a blood robe emerged from the blood waves. His red pupils observing the spiritual vortex, exclaiming, "It's not a sacred artifact, but a young dragon?"
A flash of disappointment crossed his eyes. He had expected a sacred artifact to emerge with such commotion, but it turned out to be a supreme-ranked dragon beast, far from his expectations.
"Eh~~~" Suddenly noticing something, Xue Lingzi examined the ancient dragon, exclaiming, "It's transforming its spiritual energy; this dragon beast is from the lower realms!"
Upon realizing this, his previously cautious heart began to race. The thought of capturing a supreme-ranked divine dragon from the lower realms, without fear of divine beast retribution, emboldened him instantly. The potential addition of such a powerful creature would surely bolster the Blood God Clan enormously.
"Truly heaven's blessing..." Xue Lingzi licked his lips, looking at Zhukun greedily, scheming how to subdue him.
Abruptly, his expression changed, turning in another direction as a powerful aura surged forth.
"Heh heh heh, it's that old Roxius himself!"
Lightning flashed outside the sky.
Lo Tian Shen slowly appeared above, his face stern upon seeing the Blood God forces, realizing he had come alone while the others brought massive retinues, leaving him at a disadvantage.
"Lingzi, long time no see," sneered Lo Tian Shen seeing his rival's expression, "here to hunt treasure alone in such a risky place...?"
"Look at that condescension. Did you think treasure hunting was risk-free? What if Roxius perishes? What would become of your Roxius Clan then!" scoffed Xue Lingzi, his tone dripping with menace.
Faced with the threat, Lo Tian Shen's aura surged, ready for battle despite the numerical disadvantage, replying, "This is Roxius Clan territory. Leave if you know what's good for you. Otherwise, don't blame me for not showing mercy."
Sensing Lo Tian Shen's resolve, Lingzi faked a laugh to conceal his fear. Though slightly vexed, he was aware of Lo Tian Shen's unmatched might among the four great clans, making it unwise to provoke him without caution.
Then, laughter echoed as two more figures arrived.
"Hahaha, Lingzi's right; each deserving their own in the Great Thousand Worlds. Why not let the divine beast choose its own master? Forceful seizure isn't how we do things," exclaimed the Bone and Force Clan leaders.
"You too?" huffed Lo Tian Shen, coldly facing their combined army. "Not worried about breaking your teeth on this?"
The four great clans of the Little Western Heaven Realm had gathered, and the air was filled with undisguised killing intent, pressing the surroundings into suffocating tension, poised for an imminent showdown.
In the Great Thousand World, the saying goes: below supreme, all are ants.
Above supreme, even within the entire world, one stands as a powerhouse; and amongst them, earthly supremes are hegemon-tier figures.
In this unfolding scene, the gathering of Earth Supremes each meant the situation could shift dramatically based on their moves.
While Lo Tian Shen stood alone against three clans, unwavered, prepared to inflict significant losses if battle ensued, all four clan leaders eyed the storm's center, greedy for its hidden power.

"Agreed," the other clan leaders responded, realizing mutual interests favored cooperation.
"We'll enter together then!" Lo Tian Shen nodded, hiding plans of minimal resistance, following Lingzi's suggestion.
The four, transforming into beams of light, surged towards the storm. Even they felt its terror increasing as they neared.
"Lo River Avatar, rise!"
Lo Tian Shen's spirit rose, manifesting an immense, river-like avatar amongst the legends, appearing in the heavens.
"Shadow Avatar, arise!"
Not to be outdone, Lingzi summoned a colossal, eerie blood shadow, while the others, Bone and Force clan leaders, manifested their avatars too.
Together, they plowed through the storm's razor-like winds, leaving behind marks in their wake, advancing towards the center.
"Terrifying storm indeed; ordinary supreme avatars would be shredded instantly. Whoever's causing this isn't an ordinary being. We might have underestimated this," Lo Tian Shen remarked cautiously, already contemplating retreat, should this powerful being prove even more difficult to subdue despite weakening.
Within moments, they breached the storm, arriving at its epicenter where Zhukun sat meditating, overseeing a majestic dragon avatar absorbing spiritual energy fiercely, his power surging from supreme rank one to two rapidly.
"By heaven... a pure divine dragon!" the sight made all draw cold breaths, realizing its unprecedented power.
Seeing Zhukun's increasing absorption rate, Lingzi's face shifted, urging urgently, "It senses us! Attack now before it grows stronger!"
Without hesitation, he launched a massive blood palm strike towards Zhukun.
"Stop!"
Sensing danger, Zhukun opened his eyes in shock, roaring furiously, releasing a protective barrier. The clash sent waves of energy rippling, momentarily pausing his absorption, showing vulnerability.
"It's working, strike together!" Lingzi exclaimed excitedly to the others.
