Kapitel 31: Another one bites the dust
The power under Damian's feet became stronger and stronger, and the shape of Maddy's head became more and more exaggerated. He began to beat Damian's leg desperately with both arms, but every punch was like hitting a steel wall. His skin was torn apart but it had no effect.

Damian took a step forward, raised his feet high and then lowered them. The minced meat and brain parts attached to the shoes were knocked to the ground. As for the blood still remaining on the shoes, it didn't matter. In the end of the world, it is normal for shoes to be bloody.
"Roar!"
Several zombies were attracted by the sound. Damian killed them with a few cuts, and then picked up the cards dropped after their death.
Simply filter, keep the useful two, and throw away the rest.
When the card falls on the ground, white light particles will appear. If no one picks it up within 10 minutes, it'll disappear on its own.
The two cards Damian chose, one is a gold ring that increases strength and agility, and the other is a silver ring that increases spirit.
Damian's fingers are not fully 'ringed' yet, and there are also bronze-level rings in some of them, so as long as it is ring-type equipment, you don't need to think about it, just take it, and change it.
After Damian finished all this, he glanced at the body of the Maddy, and then looked to the southwest.
There is a large comprehensive supermarket there, and the leader of that supermarket stronghold is scary Sam, the last of the three generals who betrayed him in his previous life.
Anyway, the dungeon still has three days to open. Killing zombies near a dungeon is no different than killing zombies while going to the supermarket.

As for why this supermarket is still safe after so many days into the apocalypse, there are two main reasons.
First, God knows what kind of rich high enterprise funded it , that all the glass used in this building was very tough. Almost reaching the level of low grade bulletproof glass maybe. The thickness of it.. so the defense is quite tight.
The second is scary Sam.
As a capable villain, blessed by a little bit of luck, no matter whether it is Vicky, Maddy, or Sam, all three of them are not useless.
They seized the opportunity at the beginning of the end of the world by any means and became stronger as quickly as possible, either developing their power or strengthening themselves.
While others were hesitating on morality and kindness for a day or two, these 3 villains had already turned into certified survivors. Leading other people as baits to clean up nearby zombies during the day and keeping quiet at night.
As even seen before Maddy was always hiding behind others, so he could run first if anything went wrong. This instinct is what makes them capable generals.
"Friend, please wait a moment." A very polite voice stopped Damian. A man about thirty years old with a short knife in his hand came out from behind the bunker.
"Please don't go any further. This place has been occupied by us. If you are short of food and water, you can exchange it with weapons, equipment and other consumables."
The man's attitude was very polite, but it was not because he was a good person.
Friendly attitude depends on Damian's strength.
Although there is no way to detect Damian's level like a zombie, just the fact that Damian is walking alone in the apocalypse freely, can explain a lot of things.
Coupled with his impressive-looking equipment, and the shiny sword, it's hard to say whether he is strong or not, but he is certainly not weak.
During the day in the supermarket, people go out to collect supplies, and there is a serious shortage of manpower. It is better not to start a war if possible.
Even though there are a lot of supplies in the supermarket, sooner or later, no matter how much supplies you have, you will eventually run out of supplies. As long as you are not mentally retarded, you will definitely not sit around and eat up all the supplies before going out.

"Wait here," The man turned sideways and wanted to ask the people behind him to go upstairs to the supermarket to confirm with Sam, but before he could speak, a sharp ice crystal penetrated his head.
Damian stopped in front of the door, slashed with his sword, and then kicked out with a heavy foot. The hard glass door shattered instantly, and countless fragments smashed into the room like nails.
Everyone on the first floor of the supermarket was stunned. The sudden shattering of the anti-theft glass door was beyond their normal understanding.
Shouldn't zombies just bang their heads and turn away afterwards? How did the glass break?
Ignoring everyone's shock, Damian just walked inside and looked around casually, noticing that his target wasn't on the first floor.
He walked towards the stairs on the right. When he passed by a person, he came back to his senses and immediately raised his hands. Not sure if he wanted to catch the intruder or attack him.
But before the raised right hand fell, something seemed to flash in the air. Then, the man's raised hand broke from the wrist and fell to the ground with a snap.
The man stared blankly at his empty frozen wrist, not realizing what had happened. When the frost on the wound melted, severe pain burst out along with a stream of blood, and a heart-rending scream suddenly rang out.
Argghhhhhhhhh my hand, haaaaannnn.... Only to be stopped midway as his head slid down his shoulder and fell near his legs like a football.
"What the hell's going on downstairs?"
A rather rude voice sounded from upstairs. As a shirtless man with a shaved head and a hideous scar on his face angrily walked down the stairs. As he spoke, the scarred skin twiched along, as if there was a worm under his skin, like a living centipede.
Looking rather weird and scary to stare at.
Looking at the man, Damian chuckled slowly and whispered coldly. "I found you, Sammy. And might I say, you're as disgusting to look at as ever."
