Kapitel 95: Fangs Within the Shadows

Still utterly confused by Nessa's sudden appearance, Cassie and the girls watched as Kaleb stepped into the tent, shortly after Nessa. His presence drew shocked gasps.

Cassie pulled away from Nessa, taking a cautious step back before asking in a perplexed tone as she glanced between her and Kaleb.

"Wh... what the..."

She ran a hand through her hair and shook her head.

"What's going on Nessa? Why are you here?"

Nessa didn't hesitate for a moment, her eyes, expression, and demeanor practically devoid of any emotion as she stepped forward with purposeful strides and grabbed Cassie by the arm. 

Her voice was clear and uncompromising as she spoke.

"I came here for you Cassie. It's getting too dangerous to be here right now"

Cassie stood motionless for a moment, with confusion and indecision etched on her face.

"To find me?"

Her words were tinged with disbelief.

"But... why? I thought you said..."
