The Ark glided silently through space toward Axion Station, its sleek metallic hull blending into the surrounding void. Inside the war room, Ethan, Prella, Vala, Nova, and Tazra Kane stood around a holographic display of the station. The tension in the air was palpable, though not just because of the upcoming mission.

Ethan glanced at the others, noticing the subtle glances exchanged between Prella and Tazra, both sizing each other up, their rivalry bubbling just beneath the surface. He sighed internally, this mission was dangerous enough without the added friction.

"Alright," Ethan began, clearing his throat, "we know what we're after, the access codes hidden in the station's high-security vault. Without them, Draxis Prime is out of reach. This is our only shot at getting inside the Shadow Council's inner circle."
