The Ark burst out of hyperspace above the industrial planet of Cyrnoth, a dark, smog-choked world infamous for its sprawling black markets and criminal organizations. From orbit, the planet was barely visible under the thick layer of grey pollution, and even the oceans below seemed tainted by years of toxic waste dumping.

Ethan stood at the command deck, looking down at the planet on the holo-display. His brow furrowed in disgust as Nova flickered beside him, her usual playful tone slightly subdued by the grim surroundings.

Nova, her face reflecting the gloom: "Cyrnoth. If you were looking for the armpit of the galaxy, you've found it. Not exactly a five-star vacation spot."

Prella, pulling on her breathing mask and adjusting the straps: "There's nothing here but death and filth. It's no wonder the Syndicate would use this place as a hideout. No law enforcement would dare come near it."
