"Thank you?" Velvet sneered, her voice dripping with venom as she glared at Horizon.
"You're welcome," Horizon answered smoothly, unfazed by the tension building in the air.
"Wha–! That's not what I meant!" Velvet growled, stomping her foot in frustration. Her hands clenched around her weapon, the intensity of her gaze could kill. "What I want from you is an apology. You used us back there! Are you even a man?"
Dawnfire, with her imposing presence, crossed her arms and smirked, pushing her chest forward from the tight confines of her armor. "Do you even know who you're messing with?"
Velvet's eyes were burning with anger as she drew her weapon and licked the edge of the blade, her gaze never leaving Horizon. "Let's just kill him."
Horizon remained unfazed, his stoic expression never changed. Nyx, perched on his head, hissed, her body coiling in preparation to strike, her eyes glinting with deadly intent.
