Kapitel 171: Suspicious Glances

The break room on set had a unique charm, somewhere between cozy and "last decorated in the '90s." Old posters of films that no one could remember lined the walls, along with a mildly terrifying coffee machine that seemed as likely to spark as it was to brew. Amara and Elara found themselves there, along with several cast members who, up until now, had barely looked their way.

Amara poured herself a cup of whatever the machine had spat out, hoping for coffee and bracing for sludge. Elara leaned in beside her, the faintest brush of her shoulder against Amara's, and that was all it took.

"What's up with you two?" one of the extras asked, squinting at them over her magazine.

Amara, attempting nonchalance, raised an eyebrow. "Us? Just… existing in the same room. Is that suspicious behavior now?"
