Kapitel 166: I’m going to kill you in your sleep

The next morning, Elara woke up with a smile that threatened to break her face. She blinked sleepily at the ceiling before remembering the events of the previous day. Amara. Her heart fluttered at the thought of Amara's lips against hers, the feel of Amara's skin under her fingertips.

She turned to look at Amara and was met by the most adorable sight she'd ever seen. Amara was still fast asleep, snuggled under the covers, her soft cheeks flushed with warmth. Her black hair was spread out across her pillow like a halo, and her lips were pursed in a tiny smile. It was so cute that Elara had to hold back a laugh.

She sat up in bed and leaned over to nudge Amara awake. "Good morning, sleepy head."

Amara mumbled something unintelligible and buried her face in the pillow. Elara's heart fluttered with affection as she leaned in to kiss Amara on the cheek. The contact sent a jolt of pleasure through her body. She couldn't believe that she'd gotten so lucky.
