Sebastian shook his head. "Grace, there's no need to mention Charlotte in this conversation—"
But Grace's patience had worn thin. "Just answer the damn question!" she exclaimed, her voice rising.
Sebastian's expression remained impassive. He sighed, stood up, and walked to his room. Returning with a handful of photos, he tossed them onto Grace's lap.
Grace's eyes widened as she stared at the pictures of her and her boyfriend embracing in front of a hotel. Her gaze darted up, shock and accusation etched on her face.
"You were spying on me, Sebastian?" she asked, her voice trembling with outrage.
Sebastian exhaled deeply, his eyes locking onto hers. "You know I don't do that, Grace. I investigate, I don't spy on people." His voice was low and even. "Now, tell me, why are you back? You have this perfect man, and yet you're here. Go back to Old York, Grace."
