Kapitel 8: Carole's thoughts.
"I can't believe it, he actually agreed to come. ''
I was smiling to myself without realizing it. Also, this question left me perplexed. Why am I doing this for him? I'm sure he must have found me pushy. Anyway, my feelings for him are real, I really want to become his friend.
I used to observe it a few rare times.
He always seemed somewhere else, as if he didn't belong to this world and that intrigued me a lot.
He always put distance between himself and others, he never reacted to the mockery and insults of certain university students. He always moved alone, he ate alone during breaks.
Clearly, I didn't understand anything about him and I must admit, I found him mysterious and strange.
It was a surprise to me when I found myself playing fake girlfriend alongside him. He, who always did everything alone, maintained a fleeting bond with another person. He may have hidden it, but I'm sure it must have disturbed him.
I also didn't really know what to expect. I was a little nervous at the idea of being next to him, but I had to be strong not to let anything show.
In the end everything went well. It was even better than anything I could have hoped for. I got to know him a little bit, I discovered some side of him.
He is nicer than he seems and he has a rather original vision of the world around us. He also protected me from Michael and my litter on his back.
However, I realized that there was a lot I didn't know about him. He is so mysterious. I wonder what could have happened to him to get him like this?
This makes me take a lot more interest in him even if on the one hand, I feel a little sad for him.
I really want him and I to become friends.
The appointment date has finally arrived. We decided to meet at the bus station where we would take a bus to join the others.
I arrived first. As usual, the majority of boys who passed looked at me with loving eyes. It was always like that with them.
However, I know one who will remain unmoved when he sees me. I turned my head to the right and saw him coming closer to me.
"It didn't take you long. '' I said with a smile.
