In addition to the main characters, all five other members of the Shrek Seven Monsters were also represented, posing and interacting with the crowd, occasionally taking photos or shouting slogans. Taking photos was part of the event. Customers who purchased comics and merchandise could get a free photo. The photos would be printed and available for pickup at the store. Many customers bought items just to take photos.
After taking many pictures of Li Qian with Pikachu, she finally returned to Xia Yu's side, still excited.

"Have the TV station people arrived?" Xia Yu asked Ma Tengdong.
