Nurse Wang Xiaofang cast a sidelong glance at Lin Rui in the life support pod and then pressed the 'Consciousness Connection' button.

"Initiating consciousness connection, descending into the alien body!"

Boom!

A loud explosion resounded in Lin Rui's mind.

Everything before his eyes turned black for a moment, then his vision slowly returned.

What lay before Lin Rui was no longer the bright and spacious rest room of the martial arts club; instead, he found himself in an old room made of blue bricks.

The air was filled with the scent of earth, wood, and medicine. The walls were blotched with blue bricks, sunlight poured through the wooden window lattices, casting mottled shadows on the floor tiles inside the room.

The room contained only a few pieces of simple furniture, a bed, two chairs, and a wardrobe that were rough and solid in design. In the corner on the east side sat a small stove, from which sounds gurgled above, and the aroma of the medicine was rich.
