After arriving in Oklahoma City, Zhang Yang, Felton, and Anderson headed to the University of Oklahoma together.
Oklahoma City is home to a pair of locally grown, talented basketball brothers.
The older brother, Taylor Griffin, averaged 20 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 4 blocks in his senior year of the 04-05 season, leading his team to the Oklahoma state high school championship and being named Mr. Basketball of the state. Last summer, he turned down invitations from major city schools and stayed at the University of Oklahoma.
The younger brother, Blake Griffin, is in his junior year this season and has performed even more fiercely than his brother did in his senior year, with averages of 21 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 5 blocks. Undefeated so far this season, he is the leading candidate for Mr. Basketball of Oklahoma this year.
