"So, Mom, you mean there's no way I'm in danger?"

Cora looked at him like he was a fool.

"You are in danger. But it's fifty percent less. Like you are in danger of being targeted by extreme magic communities, the fact that you can absorb power can still land you in trouble. So, you have to be careful and formulate safety plans."

Asher was pacified now.

There's no answer more reassuring than "What you are thinking is just bad, there are worse things waiting for you" in this situation.

"Rose had an idea. She wanted to invest in a company that sells some stuff from the magical community, like clothes, things without magic."

"That's awesome. Now that I think about it, you can really do this for all the gifted communities. It will be a huge empire and really great to get some products. I miss our moon wine, you know."

Rose sat there without interrupting. She wasn't the essential part of this plan anyway.
