It was late in the evening and the wind was blowing softly, the sun was setting, and the birds were singing in the tree outside of Jess' opened bedroom window.

She was sitting on her small table, which she had placed beside her window, reading an article. However, she couldn't understand one thing she was reading.

Her mind had been in unrest since the morning because she was looking forward to Ken's visit.

He had told her that he would come for them to discuss their travel plans and maybe talk a little about what they were going to be doing there.

But, the fucking guy has refused to show up since morning! Making Jess on edge for the whole damn day!

Jess started to think that maybe Ken wasn't coming, but then he could have just called or texted to let her know.

Doesn't he know that she had forfeited things she had planned to do today just to stay home and wait for his incompetent ass?
