Kapitel 26: Chapter 26

Ariel immediately noted the difference between Ken and Aiden.

Ken made her feel cozy and flustered, but Aiden made her feel strong waves of tingles and butterflies without even trying hard.

As she stared into his blue eyes, she realized that he was angry; his question wasn't for himself; rather, he was repeating what he had heard Ken ask her. She instantly concluded that he had been watching them for a long time.

Ariel tried to move away from Aiden but he grabbed her behind the waist and drew her flush to himself.

"I asked, can I kiss you, Ariel?" He asked huskily beside her ear

Ariel shivered, feeling her pulse racing wildly against her ribcage. Somehow, Aiden's forwardness and confidence managed to make her weak in the knees.

She knew she shouldn't be getting swayed by him, but her body had a way of reacting and responding to him each time he came close to her.
