After they came back from the hospital yesterday, Ariel immediately escaped into her room and locked herself in.

She was not ready to have any friendly discussions with Aiden. He's messed with her brain enough.

The next morning, she planned to leave the house early as usual and avoid meeting with him; that was what she planned to do for the rest of the day, too, avoiding him.

She was glad he didn't even like associating with her at the company; that would give her some space to think about everything that was happening in her life at this period.

In this kind of circumstance, she was glad they didn't have each other's contacts; he must have bombarded her phone with cold and commanding texts, asking her to agree to the babymaking process.

She wouldn't have minded doing this with him if it were when she hadn't met him personally, but now, his attitude disgusted her, even though he was hotter than the sun and spicier than chili, she wouldn't do it.
