“Are you sure this is the right address?” I asked the cab driver one last time before he left us in the middle of the road, giving both me and Nina exasperated looks.

“That’s what you provided me with, Miss!” He snapped. “Maybe next time, ask the person who gave you that address in the first place?”

I watched the car drive away in confusion, looking around at the woods that surrounded us on all sides. “This can’t be it…can it?” I asked Nina in despair. “We’re in the middle of nowhere!”

“Actually…I think we are in the right place.” Nina squinted her eyes as she looked at the woods behind us. “I think I can hear people talking in that direction.”

“Really?” Turning in the direction that Niana was pointing at, I strained my ears to listen to any noises, when the soft hum of hushed conversation floated into my ears as well. “You’re right! Let’s head in that direction, shall we? Maybe we’ll find someone who can point us in the right direction.”
