Kapitel 169: Chapter 169 Completing the Bond

Mirage’s P.O.V

“Alex…” I whispered, feeling like I was almost out of breath. “Are you sure?”

“I confirmed with Daisy and she has assured me that your vitals have been stable since you started wearing that bracelet and we trust you completely.” He gave me as smile as he picked out the pin and set the box aside. “You can now be free of the bracelet.”

I looked at his wrist, where the same bracelet was blinking its green light. It would feel like a loss…if I took it off now…but wasn’t this exactly what I had wanted ever since I came to my senses? To be able to be free?

Swallowing my nervousness, I held out my hand and Alex took I carefully, slipping the pin into place right next to the blinking light. Nothing happened for a good second as I held my breath…and then the light turned red and a clicking noise was head before the bracelet parted down the middle, finally coming off of my hand.
