“You both did a good job not going to a coven.” Charles told both me and Cameron as we sat on the couch opposite to him and Malaya. “Individual witches have no obligations to report their doings to their coven, but covens have to report their unusual findings to their leader as well as their council. And a matter as important as a Moon Kissed female with a seal…it definitely would’ve caught a lot of attention.”

“Darcia assured us that Maggie can be trusted.” Cameron told his father. “I’m sorry we didn’t inform you about this sooner. We didn’t want to disturb you.”

“As the future Alpha of the pack, I trust you to make honest decisions, keeping in mind the safety of your packmates.” Charles took a sip of his coffee. “You’ve proved your capabilities there as well, Cameron. I’m also glad that you took help from Darcia, considering that the two of you never had a good relationship before. To see your overcome your huddles is truly what I had always wanted.”
