Kapitel 49: A Bond

"Takuto, who's at the door?" Tatsuki inquired, curiosity lacing his tone.

Takuto froze, struggling to form a response, his mind racing.

Finally finding his voice, Takuto shouted, "What are you doing here?"

Tatsuki and his family exchanged puzzled glances, while Mahiru remained impassive, showing no interest in the commotion at the door.

Tension crackled in the air as Takuto and Daichi locked eyes, a silent standoff ensuing.

Daichi took a step forward, but Takuto reached out, grasping his leg in a futile attempt to halt his advance.

Despite Takuto's efforts, Daichi pressed forward, entering the house with Takuto still clutching his leg.

Tatsuki and Mihana's eyes widened in disbelief at the unexpected intrusion, while Mahiru remained seated with her back turned, unaware of Daichi's arrival.

Daichi surveyed the room, his gaze finally settling on Mahiru.
