ONE YEAR LATER

I have been married to Axelle legally for a year now, but just on paper. We try our best not to be so invested in each other's lives if it has nothing to do with the plan. Malcolm did a very good job of making the media believe that this new version of Axelle is his daughter.

He introduced her to his family business and coached her through it, and Axelle being the smart woman she is, she has established a lot in one year. 

I guess I shouldn't call her Axelle anymore. To the world, she is now Renee Cedric, the only surviving family of Malcolm Cedric and the heir to his enterprise.

It is known to a few that we are married, a fact we hope to use to our advantage in the future.
