The big mess at the villa was caused by Ivan wanting Daren to feel what he felt. And he laughed with satisfaction as he heard the screams through his phone. Especially when Daren is screaming while begging for his mother.

Laughing contentedly, he threw himself on the bed and looked up at the ceiling of his room.

"See? That's how I feel when he takes away everything I have and you have to feel it! Ahahaha..." he laughed like someone who had lost his mind.
