It seemed that Kotoamatsukami could not affect individuals with a higher ninja rank.
This significantly reduced the usefulness of this trump card.
For someone like Uchiha Akira, who had just reached the Jonin level, using Kotoamatsukami to reverse the tragedy of the Uchiha massacre seemed unlikely.
Over in the Hidden Cloud Village, the Raikage was more interested in watching the Uchiha clan and Konoha tear each other apart, hoping it would give the Cloud Village the chance to rise to the top of the Five Great Ninja Villages.
They wouldn't risk a full-scale war with Konoha just to support the Uchiha clan.
So, what's next?
Apart from the Hidden Cloud Village, the Hidden Stone Village is another powerful option.
Onoki's Dust Release is unrivaled in the ninja world.
Uchiha Akira simulated another scenario where he visited the Hidden Stone Village and met with Onoki.
He straightforwardly explained the situation between the Uchiha clan and Konoha, especially highlighting the role of the Akatsuki organization.
Onoki was familiar with the Akatsuki, having even hired them on several occasions.
It's undeniable that Onoki valued the power of the Uchiha clan.
If the entire Uchiha clan could migrate to the Hidden Stone Village, it would undoubtedly boost the village's strength significantly.
However, after careful consideration, Onoki also refused.
Onoki's reasoning was different from the Raikage's.
He felt that he was getting old, and the younger generation in the Hidden Stone Village wasn't particularly strong.
But Uchiha Akira was a super-genius who had awakened the three-tomoe Sharingan at the age of six.
No one knew what heights he might reach in the future—he could even become as powerful as Uchiha Madara!
If that happened, wouldn't the Hidden Stone Village eventually fall under the control of the Uchiha clan in a decade or so?
So, Onoki declined.
With no other choice, Uchiha Akira went into hiding for two years, but his luck ran out when Orochimaru found him, leading to his death at Orochimaru's hands.
In this simulation, Uchiha Akira extracted more chakra.
After two years, his chakra reserves had increased significantly.
Simulating life over several cycles and spanning seven years, Uchiha Akira's chakra had grown substantially, reflecting the time he spent training.
However, both the Hidden Cloud Village and the Hidden Stone Village had refused to help.
So what's next? The Hidden Sand Village or the Hidden Mist Village?
Forget it.
The Kazekage's strength is mediocre at best—Kazekage is often considered the weakest among the Kage-level ninja.
The Third Kazekage was killed and turned into a puppet by Sasori, and the Fourth Kazekage died at Orochimaru's hands.
The Hidden Sand Village doesn't have the strength to confront Konoha head-on.
And as for the Hidden Mist Village, it's even worse.
At this time, the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura, is under the control of Obito's Sharingan.
Due to Rin's death at the hands of the Hidden Mist Village, Obito turned the village into a hellhole, earning it the title of the Bloody Mist.
Would Obito seek help from the Hidden Mist Village to destroy the Uchiha? Impossible.
So, aside from the Hidden Cloud Village and the Hidden Sand Village, is there any other force in the ninja world that could help the Uchiha clan stand against Konoha?
After much thought, Uchiha Akira shook his head.
There isn't.
Before witnessing the death of Shisui-sensei, Uchiha Akira hadn't considered changing the tragic outcome of the Uchiha massacre.
Because his strength was too weak, there wasn't much he could do to change things.
So, his plan was to lie low, survive the massacre, and then seek to grow stronger afterward.
But after witnessing Shisui's death—and more importantly, after being entrusted with his Mangekyō Sharingan—Uchiha Akira felt a fire burning within him.
He wanted to change things, and more importantly, he wanted to take down Danzo and the Third Hokage and the rest of the Konoha leadership.
"Well, if relying on external forces isn't an option, then I'll have to rely on myself."
After several simulations showed that neither the Hidden Cloud Village nor the Hidden Sand Village would help, Uchiha Akira finally decided to place his hope in his own strength.
He could still simulate life a dozen more times!
If he continued to lie low and grow stronger, those simulations might give him the equivalent of a hundred years' worth of training.
Even if his talent was mediocre, he could still build up his strength over time!
It would be like the story of Deva in Fengyun, who, despite having poor talent in martial arts, gained immortality through Phoenix Blood and, after two thousand years of training, became the ultimate villain.
Following his decision to rely on himself, Uchiha Akira carefully planned out his future path.
The next day, he began another life simulation.
[You distanced yourself from Konoha and hid in the faraway Land of Craftsmen, secretly training.]
[A month later, the Uchiha clan was massacred, shocking the ninja world, while you continued to train diligently.]
[Six years later, you encountered Naruto Uzumaki and his team but didn't reveal yourself, continuing your training.]
[Nine years later, the Fourth Great Ninja War broke out, and you focused on your training.]
[The Infinite Tsukuyomi was activated, and you were caught in the genjutsu, continuing your training within the illusion.]
Focusing entirely on training, Uchiha Akira blocked out everything else.
During his life simulations, he did nothing but train—training with a relentless, almost obsessive dedication.
Even on the brink of death, he would seize every last second to continue training.
The Uchiha clan being massacred? It didn't matter—he kept training!
Encountering key characters from the original story? He stayed away from them, focusing only on training!
The Fourth Great Ninja War? He didn't participate—he just kept training!
The Infinite Tsukuyomi? He trained even within the dream!
Although Uchiha Akira's natural talent was quite ordinary, this extreme dedication to training allowed him to progress rapidly in all aspects, including his chakra reserves and ninjutsu skills.
With each passing day, his power grew stronger.
In the fourth simulation, he extracted chakra, increasing his reserves by 50%, reaching the level of Kakashi.
In the fifth simulation, his chakra reserves increased by another 30%.
In the sixth simulation, they increased by 40%.
In the seventh simulation, by 20%.
In the eighth simulation, by 60%.
In the ninth simulation, he mastered the Lightning Release: Chidori.
In the tenth simulation, he advanced to the fifth gate, the Gate of Limit, in the Eight Gates.
…
Days passed, and Uchiha Akira became completely immersed in his training.
Whether during simulations or in his spare time, he trained with unyielding intensity.
Before he knew it, half a month had flown by.
During this half-month period, aside from the initial simulations where he explored the Hidden Cloud and Hidden Stone Villages, he spent most of his time training.
In terms of chakra reserves, Uchiha Akira's chakra had increased four or five times compared to half a month ago!
He now had the chakra equivalent to two or three Kakashis.
As for ninjutsu, he had already mastered Kakashi's signature technique, the Chidori.
Uchiha Akira had both lightning and fire attributes, and among his lightning techniques, Chidori was the most formidable.
As for the Lightning Release: Kirin, Uchiha Akira hadn't developed it, and there weren't any particularly powerful fire jutsus he could use.
While Wind Release: Rasengan had a fully detailed training process in the original series, Uchiha Akira didn't have wind chakra.
The most significant advancement was in the Eight Gates technique—Uchiha Akira had trained to the point where he could open the seventh gate.
After more than a dozen simulations, totaling what amounted to a century of intense training, Uchiha Akira had risen from an average Jonin to the level of an elite Jonin.
Not bad at all!
In Uchiha Akira's view, his only hope of turning the tide might lie in the final gate of the Eight Gates: the Gate of Death.
Opening the Gate of Death, Uchiha Akira believed he could gain the power to change everything!
After all, his current strength was on par with Might Guy's as an elite Jonin!
If Might Guy could take on Six Paths Madara with the Eight Gates, Uchiha Akira believed he could do something similar by opening the Eight Gates!
As for the fact that opening the Eight Gates would result in death? Uchiha Akira wasn't concerned.
With the Uchiha clan's Izanagi, combined with the Eight Gates, he could perfectly exploit the system!
This was the only way Uchiha Akira had found, after much thought, to potentially avert the tragedy of the Uchiha clan's massacre.
However, even though Uchiha Akira had been training like a madman recently, he could still sense the increasing tension between the Uchiha clan and Konoha's leadership.
"Hmm, I've managed to reach the seventh gate in the Eight Gates. It's time to learn something new," Uchiha Akira thought to himself as he finished another training session.
"Keiko, where's the old man?" he asked as he arrived at the breakfast table, surprised to find the food ready but his grandfather absent.
"The elder hasn't woken up yet. The clan elders had a meeting last night, and he only returned at dawn," Keiko replied.
"Lately, it seems like the old man has been attending a lot of clan meetings," Uchiha Akira remarked thoughtfully.
"Yes, there's been a meeting every few days," Keiko confirmed with a nod.
"It looks like the situation between the Uchiha clan and Konoha is reaching a critical point," Uchiha Akira mused internally.
According to the life simulator, the Night of the Uchiha Massacre was about a month away.
With this in mind, Uchiha Akira felt a growing sense of urgency.
"My dear grandson, you've been training like a madman lately!" the elder remarked, yawning as he finally arrived at the table and addressed Uchiha Akira.
"Grandpa, I want to learn two jutsus," Uchiha Akira said directly as he finished his meal.
"Oh? Which two?" the elder asked casually.
"Transcription Seal and… Izanagi," Uchiha Akira replied.
The elder froze mid-motion, his expression changing.
