Kapitel 13: How is he still the same?
Finally finding the topic of her interest Anna asked Sophia excitedly.
"He isn't my boyfriend... not yet," Sophia said, getting a bit shy. She couldn't imagine calling herself Ravi's girlfriend; she couldn't handle that excited and blissful feeling.
But was Anna going to let her be?
Obviously not. She pressed it even further and asked, "Oh, come on. Just tell me already."
"Just go away, I won't tell you..."
Sophia became even more flustered and unintentionally pushed Anna aside. Her strength was so much that Anna was thrown quite far away but Anna acted early and balanced herself with her ability.
She hovered in the air, she was covered with a green aura around her.
"Uff, that scared me for a second there. Good thing I am an expert at using my ability."
She let out a cold air and said, after finally getting down on the floor safely, she looked at Sophia and said, "You are stronger than you look. I didn't think you would be so strong. Fine then, I won't ask you anything further. Seems you do have the chance of getting inside the academy."
Sophia quietly listened to Anna without responding. She already had a good sense of Anna's ability so she didn't care if push her harder. Even she didn't know how she knew that.
"I had the confidence to get inside the academy by myself and didn't think anyone would be there who had the same caliber as me, but you proved me wrong. So, do you want to partner up with me in the entrance test?"
Anna gave her a proposal. Sophia does realize that Anna is strong, at least stronger than most of the students who have come to take the entrance, but she has Ravi already, and she knows for sure that he won't be doing anything at the entrance at all. He will just stand up without doing anything.
"No, I already have my partner." So, she flatly refused.
Anna's face palmed herself, seeing the naive girl before her.
"There is no rule that says you can't have more than one partner."
"But I still can't partner up with you."
"And why is that? Is it because you think I will steal your little boyfriend?" Anna said with a smirk on her face.
But Sophia unfazed by her, blankly said, "You can't. And I have to take care of him, it's only gonna bother you, so partner up with someone else."
Anna raised one eyebrow when she heard that.
'Is he a child that she has to take care of him? Or is she getting fooled by him and used as a tool to get inside the academy? If she is being used then I am gonna have to help her.'
Anna thought there had been cases like that before, but most of it had been stopped already after the entrance was taken by the elites of the academy instead of the teachers there.
And just as she was about to ask Sophia, a loud voice from a speaker sounded,
"All the students that have come to take the entrance for the Pis Aller academy are requested to arrive in the hall. We are beginning to explain the rules for the entrance examination."
Both Sophia and Anna heard it clearly and looked at each other.
"You going?" Anna asked.
"Why? You won't go there?"
"I already know the rules of the entrance, so going there isn't necessary for me."
"Guess, I will go alone then," Sophia said and turned around.
She was about to exit the room when she again heard Anna's voice from behind.
"Wait, I will only get bored here alone. Let me tag along as well."
She said and both of them headed for the hall.
Coming out of the room, they noticed the large swarm of students who were about to go to the hall as well after the announcement.
"I should have stayed in the room."
"I am going to pick him up, so you can head to the room or hall, your choice."
Sophia said, took the stairs, and went to Ravi's floor. It was quite hard for her to get there.
The situation was the same here as well, with students swarming outside the hallway and waiting for the lift.
"Can't they all go slowly, why do they have to be so impatient when all of them are going to yawn and feel bored there," Anna said bluntly.
Sophia without turning towards her, asked her, "Why are you following me?"
"I just want to see my brother-in-law, is there something wrong with that?"
Sophia didn't bother to say anything to her and reached outside Evan's room.
Knock...knock...
She knocked twice on the door, but nobody responded from inside.

'Fuck that old man. He sent me here after all, but I am glad that he didn't find out about what I did there. Even I wouldn't have known that just what was it? Is it related to my power as well, but I only have fire-like abilities... sigh, how can I even live in this outside world with a bunch of kids?'
A young man with a decent height of 1.8m and a fit and toned body thought to himself while strolling through the marketplace.
He has been forcibly send here by his jailor by literally kicking him in the ass. He still remembers his words clearly when he kicked him.
'You foul motherfucker, look at you... you are just fucking 17 and your words are so harsh. You don't even know what the kids your age do when you have been kept in prison. Motherfucker, I don't even know from whom you learned all that cursing. All of the prisoners have died, and only you survived; just get the fuck away from here, bitch.'
But all of his thoughts of rebelling against him and plucking his mustache went away when he saw the person that he wanted to see the most. He was so glad and excited but at the same time couldn't believe his eyes.
'How is he still the same?'
