Kapitel 119: The Architect's Gambit  

The air around Blackthorn felt worrying, almost electric, as though the entire campus held its breath. Avery sensed the exchange right away, a sense that something enormous changed into about to unfold. Her current judgment via the Celestial Tribunal had left her reeling, but there was no time to reside on it now. a new message, marked by the insignia of the Architect, had arrived, summoning her to a hidden part of the campus, an area she hadn't dared assignment before.

Lucas met her at the entrance to the antique bell tower, his expression tight with fear. "Are you certain you need to do that by myself?"

Avery nodded, gripping his hand for reassurance. "this is some thing I must face myself, Lucas. regardless of the Architect's been making plans — it's time we ultimately discovered out."

He hesitated, then released her hand, his gaze packed with trust. "Then I'll be waiting whilst you come lower back."
