Kapitel 11: A new player in field

With Kane's amplifier created, he walked into the vast chamber and began walking down one of the numerous bridges leading towards the centre. It was a neon green from the different tiberiums used, such as conductor tiberium lattices, which would take the electrons from oxygen and convert them to electricity. This also created an oxygen dead zone where no oxygen could go inside, which also got rid of any dust from fragments in the remaining air. When creating hardware, this is vital. Kane made a net runner chair, which was an interface into the whole amplifier, where he could use it to spoof his location while also being able to create various and anonymous accounts for eddies.

As Kane settled in his chair and began the appropriate start-up sequence, he realised he was going to need a lot of things. So, he decided to begin working small first. Going into the sea of the internet, he began to familiarise himself more with his various demons and ice protections. He quickly hijacked a signal from a crashed Arasaka drone that hadn't been recovered for well over 30 years and was still broadcasting. He used this as a baseline for his communication apparatus, where to communicate, you had to use this specific frequency.

This was an easy task for Kane, who had used the drone's software to have a basic understanding of Arasaka-made software. The base structure of coding was the same, but the different sub-sects of the coding, such as programming altitude, performance metres, and automatic shutdowns, were different. This was a common trait among Arasaka products, with them all having a fail-safe against hackers who quickly wanted to disable them but were then blocked by hard-line code which couldn't be tampered with.

Kane had a baseline idea for now on how to hack, creating pieces of cybernetics as well as advanced coding structures that would allow his first drones to be much more progressive than he initially thought. He still underestimated how much of an improvement it was from a medieval society all the way to 2077. Kane began his first job looking for fixers. He discovered one that would be useful for connection and potentially more jobs: a man called Mikhail Akulov. He wanted a netrunner who would hack a rival diplomatic procession from China and monitor them, while also providing cover for himself and his bodyguards in terms of a rival netrunner.

With this, Kane set out to talk and also made a power display towards his new client.

Andre: "COMRADE, GET OFF THE NE…!!!"

As my bodyguard burst into my suite, I was about to ask what was going on before my cyberware started going haywire. My vision was soon overtaken by numerous lines of code I didn't recognise, and I was afraid, as anyone who knew what a netrunner could do would be. I started to force my mouth open to speak.

Mikhail: "Who are you? What do you want?!"

…"Many things, Mr Akulov, but for now, I will begin introductions. I am Messiah, a netrunner who just so happened to see your little enlistment of netrunner services. I must say, your network security was pitiful, but then again, my experience is above those who are mere diplomats."

Akulov was burning up inside as his cyberware was straining from the increased data load. The overfiring of nerves was taking its toll as Akulov bit out his words in anguish and pain. He knew what this was and was all the more thankful he didn't have many enemies here in the city.

Akulov: "I understand. Would you please get off the data? I'm about to go into critical failure if this continues."

Messiah: "Very well, Mr Akulov. I thought it beneficial if we both knew where we lie in this agreement. I assume, based on your heart rate and your grinning face, this deal is well received?"

Akulov: "Da, you could say that. Goddamn, those punks of Kang Tao won't know what hit them. Very well, Messiah, we have an agreement. Now, would you release my bodyguards and stop those bugs that you have notified me about?"

Messiah: " Very well I shall endeavour to do so, all the while the local netrunner you hired is dead from the recoding I received she was taken out on the orders of Chinese military colonel by the name of Liu Kang who has also brought into there service a Fixer by the name of Regina Jones who is now contacting her mercenaries would you like to listen in on the conversation?."

Akulov: " Yes let me here how they plan to do us in" as i walked to my chair in where Andre was breathing heavily from his chest and had red eyes as i walked he sat next to me as i broadcast the call to him for a better plan.

Regina: "Hey V got a job for you, a client wants a bug put into a car with not trace thought you'd be the best for it since lest face it not many here in Night city got that layer of subtly you have besides your recommend by Watto."

V: "Hi Regina V here sure as long as the client use to giving out big paydays."

Regina: "Alright kid don't get you head stuck on to many eddies, the client informed me of a couple snags you know like almost fully borged guards as well as a few Miltech Manticores that run patrol."

V: " Ah no biggie as long as they don't have a netrunners i wont have a problem."

Regina: "Alright kid message me when the jobs done so we can confirm with the client, good luck. "

As the call ended i can feel my blood boiling how dare they ! as pace my breathes i think on my latest 'Partner' call out to them.

Akulov: " Messiah can you handle this, if you can solve this ill give you a new deal in where you name you terms within reason."

Messiah: " It depends what you want done I can knock them all out now and be done with it, or would you rather have you rival blamed for it, say if their smart weapons were to go haywire and kill a bunch of Araska diplomats or for the hell of it have me hack a much of drones and set their parameters to explode when they are moving through city in a convoy and dive for the convoy."

As i heard options i realised this person had no qualms with killing i thought about it for the moment, if the negotiations between Arsaka and Kang Tao went bad it would be a good way in for me as well as having insider knowledge of the event would allow me more mauver room.

Akulov: "Do what's necessary to get the mercenary off me and the trail deal with fixer in a way where she will stay out of it unless she wants to get replaced and then for Kang Tao make a mess that they'll have to clean up do all this and ill get resources allocated to you in anyway you want."

Messiah: " Very well, the demands i have are industrial grade printers with also regards to your older models of drones in the case of your Novgorod drone battle series drones with 600 units of each completely wiped from you database along with armaments, i will handle transportation of assets myself just tell a time and place."

This was a hugs agreement one i couldn't assert myself as i thought about if they knew what they did they would ask for the blueprints unless they just older models for a better anti hacker rate ? i don't know but this deal is good while sounding back with no transportation on our side and just a drop off location it would be a good deal to get rid of our old stock, but i would need to ask the secretary general first.

Akulov: " I will ask my superiors."

AN I used Ai for the first time for writing purposes in regards to full stops and commas and stuff like that let me know if its any different, Also how was this as a chapter as i said I'm massive fan of the game and thought it would be a good idea to start with new fixer rather than entrenched one who might disregard messiah all in all hope this is a good chapter.
