The soft creak of the door interrupted the warm laughter that had filled the room. The King's second retainer, an older man with a stern but respectful demeanor, stepped inside with a scroll in hand. His presence immediately shifted the atmosphere, the playful lightness dissipating as the seriousness of his purpose took hold.

Vanisa, Liza, and Maria turned their heads toward the retainer, their playful aura now replaced with curiosity and concern. Gray, still laying in bed, raised an eyebrow, wondering what business could be so urgent.

The retainer unrolled the scroll, his voice steady and formal as he read, "It is King Almiro's call. Gray, if you have recovered, please come to the meeting hall. The king has affairs of the kingdom to discuss with you."
