Kapitel 55: The Village Chief

I quickly got up, my heart and mind filled with questions and fears. What was happening to myself? What caused me to change? I glanced about, but I found myself in the woods.

While I tried to understand the situation, my wolf's voice soothed me. "Tanya, have no fear. This is a component of your identity. Have confidence in yourself."

Breathing deeply, I tried to calm down. However, as I walked around, I sensed the villagers' gazes directed towards me. I sensed a shift in the atmosphere, prompting me to hurry and contact my great-grandmother before they reacted.

As I started walking faster, someone shouted, "Hold on! See her!

A crowd began to form around me, their expressions reflecting suspicion and fear. I attempted to resist them, but their strength was overpowering. They seized me and kept me still.

Right as they were about to manhandle me, my great-grandmother suddenly appeared. "Stop bothering her!" she ordered, her voice strong and commanding.
