Kae stood tall, his chest heaving as he gazed down at the lifeless Shadowborn. The Dragon Fury sword still hummed with energy, its golden blade gleaming under the moonlight. The core of the Shadowborn monster began to glow, catching Kae's eye. He stepped forward only for his dragon fury sword to extract the monster core.

Immediately, the core merged with the Dragon Fury sword, infusing it with a deep blue color that swirled alongside the golden hue. Then, to Kae's astonishment, the Shadowborn's lifeless body coiled up and was absorbed into the blade itself.

"What the hell?" Kae muttered, eyes wide as he watched the scene unfold. The monster seemed to coil within the sword like a serpent, disappearing entirely.

Since there was no system to explain what had just happened, Kae shook his head, pushing the strange event out of his mind. His thoughts shifted back to Anna and the other consorts.
