Kapitel 119: Everyday Life In A Faraway Fairytale

Once dressed in a pale-blue gown, the young lady began her day's activities. 

She wandered through the grand halls of the mansion, her soft footsteps muffled by the luxurious rugs as she traveled from place to place of a quite massive noble mansion.

In the library, she browsed through the shelves, selecting a book to occupy her morning hours. 

One time, it was her breakfast in the dining room. Sitting on the edge of a long table with many empty seats, she was fed with the fanciest and priciest full course delicacy by her mute servants.

"At least the food here still tastes as exquisite as ever," she uttered, enjoying the meal wholeheartedly with the most perfect table manners I ever saw in my life—probably because I was in a different era.

Most of the time, the young lady donned a dejected and indifferent look on her face. This was the first time I saw her smiling and enjoying something.
