Chapter 7: Flower Power

(Mew and her friends continue to travel to reach Violet City.)

(Soon enough, the group stops at the railing to see what is over the horizon.)

Mew: "Hey! A real city!"

(Mew says, happily.)

(Even Pikachu and Eevee are amazed.)

Brock: "Yep. That's Florando,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Maybe we can relax and do some sightseeing while we're here!"

(Misty says.)

(But Brock says.)

Brock: "Misty, I can't relax in a city full of girls who need to be protected!"

Misty: "Protected from you,"

(Misty replies, sweating drops.)

(Jen asks.)

Jen: "Can we explore the city?"

Tomo: "Yeah. Can we?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "Sure. Let's see the sights!"

(Mew happily says.)

(All the Pokemon agree and love to see the sights.)

(Soon, Mew and her friends enter Florando.)

(The group is walking on a high bridge and sees a lot of places to see.)

Mew: "Wow. There's so much to see,"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika./Eev." (I'll say.)

(Pikachu and Eevee agree.)

(Then Misty asks.)

Misty: "What do you guys think we should do first?"

Jen: "Maybe we can explore some of the shops?"

(Jen suggests.)

Tomo: "Or to find a place to eat?"

(Tomo suggests.)

(Just then, a young girl runs up and says.)

young girl: "Check out the Pokémon Exhibition!"

(and hands Mew a flyer.)

(Mew takes the flyer and asks.)

Mew: "What's a Pokémon Exhibition?"

young girl: "A Pokémon Exhibition is a giant outdoor Pokémon entertainment festival. Every year, trainers and Pokémon from around the world come here to put on Pokémon put on shows. It's what Folando's famous for,"

(The young girl explains.)

Misty: "Hey!"

(Misty says with a smile.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "We heard about the Florando Pokémon Exhibition in the last issue of Pokémon Trainer Monthly!"

(Mew turns to the group.)

Mew: "Hey, you think I could do a show with all of my Pokémon?"

Brock: "Sure,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "A live stage show?"

(Mew asks.)

Mew: "Yeah. I'm sure some of the Pokemon would love to have some fun,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "Come on, guys, let's go see some real entertainment."

(The group decides to go to where the Pokemon Exhibition is taking place.)

(When they arrive, they hear cheering coming from near and around a large stage.)

(The group is amazed to see so many different Pokemon doing tricks.)

(such as a Flareon jumping through a ring of fire, and Oddish balancing on an Electrode, some Mankey dancing with their trainer.)

(an Alakazam bending a large spoon and some water Pokémon creating a fountain for the crowd to marvel at, impressing our heroes.)

Mew: "Wow. That's cool,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "This is amazing,"

(Tomo says.)

(Soon, Mew and Jen turn their heads to hear more cheering.)

(This time, there are two small leaping Pokemon.)

(The two Pokemon are primarily green flowering plant Pokémon with circular blue eyes and red markings on its cheeks.)

(It has two bright red Rafflesia-like flowers on its head and green and yellow leaves around.)

(its waist that resemble a skirt, all adding to the appearance of a hula dancer.)

Jen: "Wow. What are they?"

(Jen asks.)

Mew: "They're Bellossoms,"

(Mew says, and takes out her Pokedex.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Bellossom, the Flower Pokémon. A Grass Type. When these Pokemon move, their delicate petals rub together creating a pleasant sound. They are also known for their unique, acrobatic dancing abilities."

Mew: "They sound pretty neat,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "They look cool,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Misty asks.)

Misty: "Want to get a closer look?"

(Mew, Tomo, and Jen nod their heads, and decide to get a closer look at the Bellossom.)

(They also see their trainer with long brown hair in a ponytail, keeping tempo as the Bellossom perform.)

Misty: "They're just like gymnasts,"

(Misty says.)

Jen: "Or acrobats,"

(Jen says.)

Brock: "Yeah, that girl has done a really good job of training them, hasn't she?"

(Brock replies.)

(Then the trainer says.)

the trainer: "And now, ladies and gentlemen, our gravity-defying grand finale!"

(Soon, both Bellossom get into position.)

(The female trainer says.)

female trainer: "Now just stay relaxed and we'll get it this time."

(Both Bellossom nod in agreement.)

(And she calls out.)

female trainer: "Go!"

(One Bellossom runs towards the other, and the second Bellossom gives the first Bellossom a boost.)

(The female trainer calls out.)

female trainer: "Bell-oop-de-Loop!"

(However, something goes wrong and the Bellossom falls off course with the routine.)

(Soon, the Bellossom lands in Mew's arm, and Mew falls on her bottom.)

(The girl and the other Bellossom rush over in concern.)

The girl: "I'm so sorry! Are you alright?"

(The girl trainer says.)

Mew: "I'm fine. I made a lucky catch,"

(Mew says, and hands Bellossom to her trainer.)

The girl: "You were in the right place at the right time for us,"

(The girl says and extends her hand to help Mew.)

(But Brock takes the girl's hand and says.)

Brock: "My name's Brock, and as far as I'm concerned, any place you are and any time you're there is the right place and the right time for me!"

(The girl looks at Brock, confused as Misty drags Brock away.)

Misty: "There's a time and a place for everything, but for you, it's not here and it's not now,"

(Misty says as she drags Brock away.)

(Soon, Mew and her friends sat with the girl while having some drinks.)

(The girl says.)

The girl: "Here's a toast to you and your friends for saving my Bellossom."

Mew: "Thank you for that great show,"

(Mew happily says.)

(The others reply.)

Everyone: "Yeah! Here's to you."

(Then everyone has a drink.)

(Then the girl says.)

Bailey: "I don't believe we've introduced ourselves. My name is Bailey, and these very talented Bellossom are my two star performers. Belle and Bella."

Mew: "My name's Mew. This is Pikachu and Eevee,"

(Mew says.)

(Pikachu and Eevee say hello.)

Bailey: "Pleased to meet you,"

(Bailey replies.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "I'm Misty. And this is my Togepi and Pichu."

Tomo: "I'm Tomo and these are my Skwovet and Meloetta,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Jen says.)

Jen: "I'm Jen, and this is Amaura."

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "Who cares about their Pokemon? My name's Brock. Why don't you and I..?"

(Before he can finish, Misty drags him away, fuming over what he says.)

Misty: "What do you mean who cares about Pokémon?!"

(Then Mew asks.)

Mew: "Are you and your Bellossom gonna try that trick again at the Pokémon Exhibition tomorrow?"

Bailey: "Well, that was our original plan,"

(Bailey says.)

(However, one of the Bellossom, Belle lowers her head in sadness.)

(Misty approaches her.)

Misty: "Belle doesn't sound too happy."

Bailey: "I'm afraid our Bell-oop-de-loop just hasn't been working out lately,"

(Bailey says.)

Tomo: "Yeah, I kinda noticed that,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Bailey says.)

Bailey: "Belle used to do it perfectly, but ever since we got here, we've been having problems with it."

(Belle sadly turns away.)

Brock: "Belle's in a slump,"

(Brock says.)

Bailey: "Yes,"

(Bailey replies.)

(Then smiles.)

Bailey: "But we'll just keep doing the best we can. Isn't that right, Belle?"

(Belle turns to Bailey and nods.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket stumbles upon the performing area as well.)

Jessie: "There's something very festive in the air, wouldn't you say, James?"

(Jessie replies.)

James: "I thought it was Meowth,"

(James says.)

(Meowth looks around and says.)

Meowth: "Looks to me like the whole town's getting ready for some kind of street performance."

James: "That sounds like it's right up our alley!"

(James says.)

(Jessie happily says.)

Jessie: "Wouldn't it be exciting if James and I could demonstrate our talents here?"

Meowth: "It'd be exciting if any of you had any talents to demonstrate,"

(Meowth comments.)

(Soon, Jessie comes in with a flamenco dancing dress.)

Jessie: "It is in my blood! The flamenco!"

Meowth: "You better get a blood test, Jessie!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then James comes in dancing ballet.)

(Then the two take each other's hands.)

Jessie: "We're gonna get rich,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Yes, and you're going to help us do it,"

(James adds.)

(But Meowth says.)

Meowth: "I don't have to dance or nothing, do I?"

Jessie and James: "Oh no. We'll do all the dancing,"

(Jessie and James happily say.)

Meowth: "Then what do I have to do?"

(Meowth asks.)

(Then the two answer.)

Jessie and James: "Just be yourself!"

(Soon enough, Team Rocket has a stage set up.)

(Jessie and James are excited, but Meowth isn't so much.)

(Jessie claps her hands and calls out.)

Jessie: "Hurry! Hurry! Step right up! It's the one-of-a-kind attraction guaranteed to shock and amaze you! Gather round and feast your eyes and ears on the world's only walking, talking, squawking Meowth anywhere!"

(Meowth is shocked.)

Meowth: "What am I gonna say?"

(Soon, people stop to look.)

James: "Gather round, folks!"

(James calls out.)

(More and more people gather as Jessie puts Meowth on center stage.)

(Jessie and James call out.)

Jessie and James: "Here's our star!"

(However, Mewoth ends up developing stage fright and doesn't say a word.)

(Soon, the audience begins to jeer and prompting Team Rocket to pick up the stage frightened Meowth.)

James: "There will now be a short intermission,"

(James says.)

(And they quickly take Meowth backstage.)

(Jessie asks.)

Jessie: "What's the matter with you, Meowth? Why didn't you say something?"

Meowth: "Because I get very inhibited when I get exhibited,"

(Meowth answers.)

James: "But the crowd won't give us a cent if you don't talk,"

(James says.)

Meowth::"I can't think of nothing to say to all them people,"

(Meowth says.)

James: "Who cares? Just say any old thing!"

(James says.)

(But Meowth refuses.)

Meowth: "I will not insult my public with an unscripted performance."

Jessie: "I thought I was supposed to be the Team Rocket prima dona!"

(Jessie says, and begins to scribble something.)

(Then hands a paper to Meowth.)

Jessie: "Here, go out there and read these jokes."

James: "I don't know. Comedy's tricky"

(James says.)

(Meowth takes the paper and says.)

Meowth: "It's all in the delivery."

(Soon, Team Rocket heads back on stage.)

Jessie: "Sorry for the interruption,"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Now, to delight and amuse you, we present the amazing Meowth!"

(Then Jessie and James vacate the stage.)

Meowth: "Hi, folks! I got some great jokes for ya!"

(Meowth says.)

(And begins to tell jokes.)

Meowth: "What does a Pokémon with an allergy say? Pik-achooo! When should a trainer make an appointment to see the doctor? When his Bulb-is-sore."

(As Meowth finishes the second joke, Jessie and James laugh and start collecting money from the trainers.)

(However, no one seems to be laughing.)

(Jessie says.)

Jessie: "That was one of my best ones!

Meowth: "We oughta clean up with material like that,"

(Meowth adds.)

(However, they notice that no one is laughing or paying, and begin to leave.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Hey, you! The show's not free!"

(One man says.)

One man: "If it's not, it should be."

(A second man says.)

second man: "Yeah, those jokes are the worst."

(Then James gets in front of them and says.)

James: "Meowth's just getting warmed up! The funny stuff is on the way!"

(And runs back up to the stage and whispers a joke to Meowth.)

(Meowth says.)

Meowth: "They'll love this one! Hey, did you hear about the low-fat Pokémon? Caterpie!"

(However, no one gets the joke.)

(This makes James furious because Meowth got the punchline wrong.)

(James shouts.)

James: "Butter-free! Not Caterpie!"

(Meowth shouts.)

Meowth: "Butter-free, Caterpie, what's the difference?!"

Soon, they realize the audience is gone, "Where is everybody?"

"Well, at least you two managed to stop the show," Jessie replies.

"Well, don't blame me!" Meowth angrily says.

James says, "If your delivery had been better, we would've been a hit."

You wanna see a hit?! I'll show you a hit! Believe me!" Meowth angrily says.

Jessie leans against the stage and says, "We needed you to warm up the crowd, not to cool them off."

"Now they'll never get to see Jessie and me dance," James says.

Meowth questions, "And you think that's a bad thing?"

"We would've put on a sensational show, James," Jessie says.

"The best!" James says.

Jessie dances the flamenco, "My flamenco would've been the rage!"

And James dances the ballet, "And I would've done a leap right off the stage! They would've gone mad for my grand plié!"

"And I'd drive them wild with my great castanets! James, maybe there's still a chance for our dancing dreams to come true," Jessie says.

"I agree, so what do we do?" James asks.

Then Jessie says, "Luckily, I have a brilliant idea!"

"That worries me," Meowth replies in concern.

(Later, Team Rocket are driving a bulldozer into the performing area.)

(catching Mew and the others' attention.)

Mew: "I know those voices!"

(Mew says.)

(Mew soon runs in front of Team Rocket.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Hey! You can't just bulldoze your way in here, Team Rocket!"

(Bailey runs over and asks.)

Bailey: "Mew, what's going on? Who are these three?"

Jessie (clacking castanet): Prepare for trouble and a dance.

James: I'm wearing tights instead of pants.

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all people within our nation!

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie: Jessie.

James: James.

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James: Surrender now or prepare to fight!

Meowth: Ta da!

(Mew turns to her Pokemon.)

Mew: "Come on, Pikachu! Eevee! We know how to get rid of these three, don't we?"

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Sure do!)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Yeah!)

(Eevee says.)

(But Bailey stops them.)

Bailey: "Wait, Mew! This place is reserved for the trainers and Pokémon who perform in the exhibition, and we'll be the ones to defend it!"

Jessie: "Well, if it's a battle you want…"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Then a battle you shall have!"

(One performer calls out.)

One performer: "Alakazam, use your Psychic attack on em!"

(Alakazam lifts the bulldozer up with ease, flips it over, and sends Team Rocket falling on the street.)

Jessie: "Let's give them a performance! Arbok!"

(Jessie says, and calls out her Pokemon.)

(James does the same.)

James: "Victreebel, go!"

(Both Pokemon come out of the Pokeball.)

(As usual, Victreebel quickly chomps on James' head.)

(James cries.)

James: "C'mon, I have my public to think about! EEEEEEE!"

(Now it's Bailey's turn.)

Bailey: "Come on, Team! They can't scare us!"

(Belle and Bell charge.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Arbok, get them with your Poison Sting!"

(Arbok fires, but the two dodge with ease.)

(Then James calls out.)

James: "Victreebel, Swords Dance attack!"

(Victreebel finally lets go to perform the attack.)

(Bailey calls out.)

Bailey: "Use the back-step we rehearsed!"

(Belle and Bella effortlessly dodge Victreebel's attack.)

Misty: "They're cool!"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Nice moves!"

(Brock says.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Keep it up, guys! You're doing great!"

Jen: "Go Belle! Go Bella!"

(Jen calls out.)

Tomo: "Go Go!"

(Tomo calls out.)

(Meowth calls out.)

Meowth: "Come on, team! Quit dancing around and attack em back, will you?!"

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Arbok, use Wrap attack!"

(James calls out.)

James: "Victreebel, use Wrap attack!"

(Both Pokemon charge to wrap the Bellossoms.)

(Bailey calls out.)

Bailey: "Belle, Bella, do the dunk turn!"

(Belle and Bella dodge with ease and use their downed opponents like trampolines.)

(Then Bailey calls out.)

Bailey: "Now, use Sleep Powder!"

(Belle and Bella make their flowers spin in order to put their opponents to sleep.)

(Jessie and James cry out.)

Jessie and James: "My poor baby!"

(Then they both pick up their knocked out Pokemon.)

Jessie: "I think we've been upstaged!"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Let's make a grand exit!"

(Then the two retreats.)

Meowth: "We'll be back for an encore!"

(Meowth calls out, and runs away as well.)

Bailey: "Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, we hope you enjoyed the show,"

(Bailey says, and bows.)

(The audience applauds, even Mew and her friends applause and cheers.)

Misty: "That seemed more like a performance than a battle, didn't it, guys?"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "As long as they beat Team Rocket, who cares?"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "I don't know how they did it, but they sure deserve a big hand,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "Yeah,"

(Tomo says.)

Jen: "They were great,"

(Jen happily says.)

(Even the Pokemon complement the performance.)

(Sometime later, Team Rocket is in an alley having lunch.)

(James and Meowth are fighting over the last meatball.)

(Then Jessie snatches it and eats it.)

Jessie: "The last one's always the best.

(Meowth cries out.)

Meowth: "How in the world am I supposed to survive if I keep getting deprived?!"

James: "I guess renting that bulldozer didn't exactly help our financial situation,"

(James says.)

(Soon, a poster flies into Jessie's face.)

(Jessie looks and reads.)

Jessie: "Come and enjoy the annual Florando Pokemon Talent Exhibition."

James: "It's tomorrow,"

(James says, looking at the poster.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "And I bet there'll be tons of talented Pokemon for us to swipe!"

Jessie: "We'll go there!"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "And we'll grab every Pokemon at the exhibition!"

Meowth: "And while we're at it, we can grab a slice of pizza!"

(Meowth says.)

(Later that night, Mew and her friends parked under a bridge for dinner.)

(while Pikachu, Eevee, and the other Pokemon rehearsed with Belle and Bella.)

(Then Tomo asks.)

Tomo: "Did you always train your Pokemon to dance instead of battle?"

Bailey: "No. At first, we practiced dancing as a way of cross training for battle. But when I saw how happy Belle and Bella were whenever they danced together, the look on their faces convinced me to concentrate on dancing instead of battling. We've been communicating with each other much better since we focused on dancing, and now it's become our goal to become the greatest Pokemon dance troupe anywhere,"

(Bailey explains.)

Misty: "They really love dancing, don't they?"

(Misty asks.)

Brock: "They sure do,"

(Brock says.)

Bailey: "That's why we all want to do the very best we can at the exhibition tomorrow. Now that you know all about us, we want to hear about you,"

(Bailey says.)

Misty: "Well, I want to know everything there is to know about water Pokemon,"

(Misty says.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "Since I was a kid, all I ever wanted was to be a Pokemon breeder."

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "And I plan on being a great Pokemon trainer and learn all about and help Pokemon."

Jen: "I like to become a good trainer too,"

(Jen says.)

Tomo: "Me three,"

(Tomo says.)

(Bailey chuckles.)

Bailey: "Well, it sounds like we're all big Pokemon fans."

(Then Jen asks.)

Jen: "Bailey, I was wondering about something. How'd your Bellossom beat Team Rocket just by dancing around?"

Bailey: "Because dancing and battling aren't so different,"

(Bailey says.)

Mew: "They're not?"

(Mew says, confused.)

Bailey: "Dance steps can be just like a fighter's footwork. And rhythm is just as important in battle as it is in dancing,"

(Bailey says.)

Misty: "You really think so?"

(Misty asks.)

Bailey: "Come to our workout tomorrow and we'll show you,"

(Bailey says.)

Tomo: "That'd be great,"

(Tomo says.)

(The next day, Mew and her friends watch Bailey lead Belle and Bell through their workout.)

(Pikachu and Meloetta are in on the act.)

(Bailey calls out.)

Bailey: "One, two! One, two! Try to step in time with the beat, Pikachu."

(Pikachu struggles a little, but Meloetta is doing it perfectly.)

Bailey: "That's right, that's good! Now try the backflip."

(Bailey says.)

(Soon, the four Pokemon successfully do so.)

(Bailey claps and says.)

Bailey: "Sidestep Sidestep, double twirl, and pose!"

(Soon, the four perform and pull it off without a hitch.)

(Mew applauds.)

Mew: "That was great, Pikachu!"

Tomo: "You too, Meloetta,"

(Tomo says.)

(Even Belle and Bella applaud for Pikachu and Meloetta's performance.)

(Bailey says.)

Bailey: "Now don't forget those steps, Pikachu and Meloetta, and next time you're in a battle, you can use them to get away from your opponent's attacks."

(A little time later, Mew and the others continue with the workout session.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "All set, Bailey! Ready when you are!"

Bailey: "If everyone's in position, let's practice the Bell-oop-de-loop,"

(Bailey says.)

(Both Belle and Bella nod their heads, ready to practice.)

(Then Bailey says to Belle.)

Bailey: "Alright, Belle, now picture in your mind how it's done and try to relax, okay?"

Belle: "Bell," (Right.)

(Belle replies with a nod.)

(Then Bailey says.)

Bailey: "And, Bella, you need to have split-second timing when you give Belle the boost."

Bella: "Bello," (Gotcha.)

(Bella replies with a nod.)

(Then Bailey calls out.)

Bailey: "Go!"

(Belle runs forward, and Bella gives Belle the boost she needs.)

(Suddenly, Belle gets scared right in the middle and falls to the ground.)

(Luckily, Mew catches her in the nick of time.)

(Bailey rushes to Belle.)

Bailey: "Belle! It looks like we still need some practice."

(Belle lowers her head.)

Bailey: "Please don't feel badly, Belle. I know you did your best. We can just leave the Bell-oop-de-loop out of our routine,"

(Bailey says.)

(Later, at the stage, people from all over Florando have gathered to watch the exhibition, including Mew and her friends.)

(However, something is about to go wrong as it's revealed that the stage hands are tied up under the stage.)

(and two familiar figures take the stage in disguise, Team Rocket.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Ladies and gentlemen, I can't tell you who'll go home with the grand prize at our annual Pokemon Exhibition, but I can promise it'll be a big surprise."

James: "We guarantee an unforgettable show, so let's meet our first contestants, right here,"

(James says.)

(Soon, all the performers come out with their Pokemon, including Bailey, Belle, and Bella.)

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Come on, Bailey!

Mew: "Good luck, you guys!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Misty cheers.)

Misty: "You can do it, Bailey!"

Jen: "You can do it, Belle and Bella!"

(Jen calls out.)

Tomo: "You can win this!"

(Tomo calls out.)

(On stage, James says.)

James: "With that kind of welcome, we'll have to drag them off stage!"

James: "Take it away!"

(James says.)

(Right on cue, as the audience applauds, Meowth makes his move.)

Meowth: "I may not know how to dance the flamenco, but I'm great when it comes to casting nets!"

(Meowth soon tosses a large net down on the Pokemon as Team Rocket's balloon takes off.)

(Mew cries out.)

Mew: "Oh no!

Brock: "Not again!"

(Brock cries out.)

(Meowth takes off his mask.)

Meowth: "Up, up and away!"

(The balloon then hoists the trapped Pokemon upward.)

(Bailey calls out.)

Bailey: "What are you doing?! Those are my Bellossom!"

(Then Jessie and James grab the ropes and pull them up.)

(Bailey recognizes them.)

Bailey: "They look awfully familiar!"

(Jessie removes her mask.)

Jessie: "That's probably because Team Rocket's familiar, and we're pretty awful, too."

(James removes his mask.)

James: "Ta ta, twerps!"

(Team Rocket laugh in triumph as Mew and the others rush to the stage.)

Brock: "We've gotta do something, fast!"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "But they're already too high up!"

(Misty says.)

(Then Mew realizes.)

Mew: "Hey, wait."

(Then throws her Pokeball.)

Mew: "I choose you, Heracross!"

(Heracross comes out of the Pokeball.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Quick, Heracross, if you use your horn to throw Pikachu and Eevee high enough, maybe we can stop Team Rocket!"

(Pikachu answers.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (Ready.)

(Eevee answers.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "Okay! Heracross, fire away!"

(Heracross catapults Pikachu and Eevee in the air.)

Bailey: "Oh my!"

(Bailey says, surprised.)

(Pikachu and Eevee have been launched high past Team Rocket, baffled at what they're doing.)

(Then they both land on the balloon.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Use your Thunderbolt on that balloon!"

(Soon, both Pikachu and Eevee perform Thunderbolt, causing a leak in the balloon.)

(forcing them to crash land in the nearby park. Mew and the others soon rush over.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu, Eevee, are you alright?!"

(Pikachu and Eevee climb out from the balloon and run to their trainer.)

(Mew takes them in her arms.)

Mew: "I'm glad you both are okay."

(Jessie and James look to see them.)

Jessie and James: "You all again!"

Mew: "You're grounded! Give those Pokémon back!"

(Mew demands.)

(But Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Not without a battle, heroes! Arbok, I choose you!"

(Jessie calls out her Pokemon and it comes out.)

(James does the same.)

James: "Victreebel!"

(Victreebel comes out of the Pokeball and quickly chomps on James' head.)

(James cries out.)

James: "This is so embarrassing!"

(Then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Go get em, guys!"

(Pikachu and Eevee leap into battle.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Arbok, Poison Sting attack, now!"

(Arbok fires the attack.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Dance around em, Pikachu!"

(Piachu then uses his new fancy footwork to avoid the attacks.)

(Then Victreebel charges as James calls out.)

James: "Victreebel, use your Take Down attack!"

Mew: "Do like the Bellossom do, Eevee!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Soon, Eevee performs the same moves and avoids Victreebel's attack.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Don't let that Pikachu and Eevee get away from you! Use Tackle attack together!"

(Soon, Victreebel and Arbok charged towards them.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Take a big leap, guys!"

(Pikachu and Eevee jump in the air, causing Team Rocket's Pokemon to smack into each other head first.)

(James calls out.)

James: "Don't just lay there! Use your Wrap attack, now!"

(Victreebel performs the attack and catches Pikachu's foot and pulls him down.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Okay, now, Arbok, surprise it with your Bite attack!"

(Arbok soon closes in on Pikachu.)

(Bailey helps Belle and Belle escape.)

(She then asks.)

Bailey: "Are you alright?"

(Belle and Bella nod, confirming that they're okay.)

(Arbok closes in to Pikachu, but then Bella boosts Belle in the air, and attempts to pull off the Bell-oop-de-loop.)

(Bailey calls out.)

Bailey: "You can do it!"

Mew: "Alright!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Right before Arbok can bite down on Pikachu, and gain more confidence, Belle is finally able to pull off her end of the Bell-oop-de-loop and kicks Arbok.)

(Bailey cheers.)

Bailey: "The Bell-oop-de-loop! It was perfect!"

(And Arbok falls to the ground.)

Jessie: "Arbok, return!"

(Jessie says, and calls back Arbok.)

(Then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu, Eevee, use your Thunderbolt attack!

(Soon, the Pikachu and Eevee use Thunderbolt and shock Victreebel.)

(Then Bailey calls out.)

Bailey: "Belle and Bella, team up and blow them away with a Tornado Twister!"

(Both Belle and Bella start spinning really fast and create a tornado.)

(that gets larger until it's big enough to catch Team Rocket in the tornado, and blows them away.)

(Jessie cries out.)

Jessie: "I feel like I'm dancing on air!"

James: "Those Bellossom turned things around!"

(James calls out.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Yeah, this is a real twist ending."

Team Rocket: "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

(Team Rocket cries out.)

(Mew happily cheers.)

Mew: "You did it!"

(Then turns her head and asks.)

Mew: "What about the other Pokemon?"

Misty: "Don't worry, they're all just fine,"

(Misty says.)

(They see that all the Pokemon return to their trainers.)

Brock: "No problemo!"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "That's great, guys,"

(Mew says.)

(Bailey walks over and says.)

Bailey: "You know, Mew, I think you'd make a pretty good dance trainer."

(Mew chuckles and says.)

Mew: "Thanks, Bailey."

(Then Bailey turns to Belle and Bella.)

Bailey: "Do you two think you can put on another performance just like that at the Pokemon Exhibition?"

(Belle and Bella nod their heads.)

(Later, Belle and Bella are performing their routine before the cheering crowds.)

(Mew and the others are among the crowd cheering for their friends.)

(Then Bailey turns to her Pokemon.)

Bailey: "Belle, Bella, are you ready?"

(Both Bellossom answer.)

Both Bellossom: "Bell." (Ready.)

(Then Bailey calls out.)

Bailey: "Bell-oop-de-loop, go!"

(Bell charges and Bella gives Belle a boat, and right in the middle.)

(Belle releases a flurry of flower petals as she twirls upside down before landing to the roaring crowds.)

(Tomo and Brock cheer.)

Tomo and Brock: "Alright!"

Misty, Jen, and Mew: "Perfect!"

(Misty, Jen, and Mew cheer.)

(Even the Pokemon cheers.)

(It's proven to be a great performance, and Belle is finally able to master her moves and give the performance of the lifetime.)

(Mew also learned new ways to battle, and knows that battling isn't the only way for Pokemon and their trainers to shine.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket have landed and are still twirling down the streets.)

(Dizzy, Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Let's take one last spin around town."

(James says.)

James: "Aren't we taking an awfully roundabout route?"

(Meowth also says, feeling dizzy.)

Meowth: "Is this what they mean by a whirlwind tour?"
