The world of One Piece has a sense of symmetry running through it.
The division of the Red Line, the separation of the Grand Line, and the positioning of Mary Geoise and Fish-Men Island—all these elements create an interesting balance.
Mary Geoise, located above the Red Line, serves as the residence of the Celestial Dragons, the world's noble elite. In stark contrast, Fish-Men Island, positioned 10,000 meters below the surface, is the birthplace of most fish-men and mermaids, who are often scorned by humanity.
One is revered by humans as a symbol of power and status, while the other is often seen as a place of suffering and disdain.
"It's really something," Leno muttered, a hint of wonder in his voice. "To think there's sunlight even down here in the deep sea."
In the cold darkness of the ocean, a large ship emitted a ghostly glow as it steadily moved forward. It bore a pirate flag emblazoned with a skull and crossed swords, and the name "Flying Dutchman" was scrawled across its sail. The ship's hull was weathered and decayed, yet it continued to sail as though untouched by time.
Leno stood at the bow, his eyes fixed on the distant light filtering through the water. Dressed in Vander Decken's clothes—a flower-patterned shirt, cropped trousers, flip-flops, and a straw hat—he looked more relaxed than ever.
The Hunter guild uniform he once wore had been shredded during his battles, forcing him to adopt his current outfit.
In front of him, a massive tree rooted deep in the seabed glowed with a faint, sun-like radiance. A gigantic bubble surrounded its base, within which the outline of an island could be seen.
"That's Fish-Men Island," Leno said softly, awe tinged in his voice, even though he already knew what it was.
Beside him, a small figure with a voice full of innocence said, "That's the Sunlight Tree Eve! It transmits sunlight from the surface to Fish-Men Island! Thanks to it, even in the deep sea, we have sunlight and the cycle of day and night. It's the blessing of the sun!"
The light danced in the childlike eyes of his companion, who seemed genuinely moved by the sight.
Over the past ten days, Leno had come to understand this guy's simple, almost childlike nature. Innocent and trusting, he'd pledged loyalty to Leno after he defeated Vander Decken, quickly becoming Leno's loyal guard during his vulnerable moments.
Now, with Leno, he finally felt valued. Leno not only gave him Belly and treated him kindly but also shared stories that brightened his days.
Suddenly, the water stirred, and a group of fish-men guards appeared, led by a large shark-man with black curly hair, a flat hat marked with a trident, and a fierce look in his eyes. It was Hody Jones, infamous for his hatred toward humans.
"Hody Jones! What do you want?"
"Where's that slime, Vander Decken?!" Hody Jones demanded, his eyes narrowing.
"He's dead," Wadatsumi replied without hesitation. "The boss killed him."
(T/N: Wadatsumi is a giant tiger blowfish fish-man and a member of the Sun Pirates. He was formerly a member of the Flying Pirates)
Hody Jones looked stunned. "You killed Vander Decken? A noble fish-man, slain by a human? How dare you!"
Leno, standing on the ship's stern, gave Hody a calm stare.
"He tried to make me his slave," Leno said casually, "so I took him down."
The revelation sent shockwaves through Hody's gang, their hatred for humans flaring into rage.
"You killed him because he tried to enslave you? You filthy human!" Hody spat, trembling with anger.
"Kill this human scum!"
With a roar, Hody's companions surged toward Leno and Wadatsumi. They attacked swiftly, but Wadatsumi, with his enormous size and tough hide, endured the blows with little more than an annoyed grunt.
"Why are you attacking me?" Wadatsumi wailed in confusion, his voice full of hurt and disbelief. The attacks had no effect on him, but the betrayal stung more than any physical blow.
As the battle intensified, Leno's calm demeanor never wavered. He stood tall, ready to face the chaos ahead, while the shadow of war loomed over Fish-Men Island.
Hody Jones stood firm, his massive body shielding his allies as they closed in on Wadatsumi.
He appeared outside the ship, glaring at Leno through the shimmering barrier.
"Hahahaha! Humans who break this coating and lose their protection are nothing more than lambs waiting to be slaughtered!"
"Arlong is right! Fish-men are the noblest race in the sea, while humans are nothing but the lowest scum!"
As he spoke, Hody stretched his hands into the water, his fingers gripping the dense liquid.
Click!
The seawater bent to his will.
"Fish-man Jiu-Jitsu! Murasame!"
(T/N: Murasame ( literally meaning "Pack of Sharks"): A technique used by Hody, he throws the water which takes the shape of a pack of sharks which bite his opponent.)
Boom! Boom! Boom!
He launched the water, transforming it into a pack of vicious sharks that surged towards the barrier.
Leno watched calmly, his expression unchanging, a faint smile on his lips.
After a few silent moments, he thought to himself, No matter how insignificant, even a mosquito has its worth.
The barrier held stronger than expected, easily withstanding Hody Jones' attack. With his current power, there was no way he could break through.
Leno casually stepped outside.
The pressure of the seawater surrounded him.
His ability to breathe underwater was one thing, but resisting the intense pressure of the deep was a testament to his own physical prowess.
Hody Jones roared, launching another attack.
In the ocean, fish-men possess ten times the strength and speed of humans. They're natural-born warriors of the sea.
But even so...
It is still humans who rule the world above.
Leno, accustomed to training in the ocean depths, moved as though he were on land. The water's resistance didn't hinder him at all.
Hody Jones' strikes never even grazed him, leaving the fish-man stunned.
"Why?! How can you move like that? You're just a human!"
Hody's eyes widened in disbelief. "Aren't humans supposed to drown and weaken in the deep sea?"
"The noble fish-men should rule the world!" His rage intensified, and he struck even faster.
"You call yourselves noble?" Leno chuckled. "Arlong said the same, and look where it got him—dead!"
Leno's eyes narrowed as he stepped forward, giving Hody Jones a chilling smile. "I've been waiting for ten seconds. What are you waiting for?"
Panic flickered in Hody's eyes as he sensed an imminent threat. Before he could react, Leno's fist shot forward, a surge of power crashing into him like a tidal wave.
Boom!
Hody Jones was sent flying, his body crumpling under the force of Leno's blow. He didn't even have the chance to make Leno draw his sword.
"What?!"
"Hody!" the remaining fish-men shouted, their faces pale with shock.
Danger rippled through the water as Leno broke through their defenses, taking them down one by one with ease.

Leno glanced at the system prompt, nodding with satisfaction as he chose the talents Shark Muscle.
Just as Leno finished off Hody and his gang, a shadow loomed over the waters.
A massive ship emerged from the darkness, bearing a red sun flag—the unmistakable symbol of the Sun Pirates.
Leno's eyes narrowed. "The Sun Pirates?"
Standing at the ship's bow was a Fish-man—the second captain of the Sun Pirates, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, with a bounty of 438 million Belly.
It was Jinbe.
Jinbe was one of the few fish-men Leno respected, a warrior who fought for his ideals and strived for peace between humans and fish-men.
Seeing the carnage, Jinbe's expression darkened, his gaze settling on Leno with a mix of anger and sadness.
He leapt into the water, his form imposing as he confronted Leno.
"Human! Why do you keep killing my comrades?" Jinbe demanded, his voice heavy with suppressed fury.
Leno met his gaze with a steady look, unphased. "They attacked first, Jinbe. If you want revenge, come at me."
Jinbei's face twisted with conflict. "You're strong, Leno. But this is the deep sea, where humans have no advantage!"
"Is that so?" Leno replied, his smile widening as he destroyed his own protective coating. "They say you're on par with the Four Emperors in these waters. Let's see if that's true."
With a sudden burst, the two clashed, tearing through the ocean currents.
"Fish-man Karate: Profound Technique: Gosenmaigawara Seiken!" Jinbe unleashed his most powerful attack.
Leno didn't bother drawing his sword. He met Jinbei's strike head-on with his fist.
Boom!
The impact sent shockwaves rippling through the water, but Leno held firm, blocking Jinbe's blow with his bare hands.
"No way! That human actually stopped Boss Jinbei's attack?! In the water?!" gasped one of the Sun Pirates.
