So, he was a bit impressed by Treyton because he could still act like a rascal even though he was injured.
"Don't worry, it's just a small injury, but how do you know I'm injured?" Treyton said while still smiling slightly.
Treyton was indeed smiling, but Luciel could see that there was no joy in Treyton's eyes; instead, they were seriously looking at him with even a bit of danger.
Luciel disregarded the danger he saw and said, "I don't have anosmia; I can smell it. You should treat your wound or call your doctor; the smell of blood is getting stronger."
"My doctor will only be coming tomorrow morning to check on you," Treyton said while looking at him seriously.
"I see. I won't be in any danger, right?" Luciel quickly asked after understanding Treyton's meaning.
It seemed that Treyton didn't want to let anyone know that he was injured; that's why he directly went to his place and wanted to use him as a cover to invite his personal doctor later on.
"Don't worry; no one will pay attention to you. As long as you stay quiet and cooperate with me, there won't be any danger," Treyton said while smiling.
"That's good," Luciel said in relief.
He still has some confidence that he could properly defend himself if some people wanted to harm him.
However, he just wanted to have a leisurely life, so he doesn't want to be involved in any dangerous situations.
"I can surely stay quiet and cooperate with you; however, there's no such statement in the contract. Will I receive a bonus after cooperating with you?" Luciel said seriously.
"Ha ha ha. Ok, I'll give you $1 million as a bonus. Satisfied?" Treyton asked while still laughing a bit.
"Very satisfied; with such a huge bonus, I can even give you a bit of treatment," Luciel said while smiling happily.
He knew that he would still need to cooperate with Treyton, whether he wanted it or not, if he didn't want to complicate his life.
Now that he would be receiving $1 million for it, he doesn't have any misgivings anymore.
Even though he knew that the $1 million was practically a payment for his silence for his whole life.
He doesn't care much about it because he wouldn't say anything about it to others anyway, even without the payment.
"Then, let's go to my room. You can treat me there," Treyton said.
"Ok, by the way, where is Nina?" Luciel asked while going upstairs, as he still hadn't seen Nina.
"She went to buy some pork ribs. I told her I wanted to eat some, so she went outside."
"Pork ribs are indeed delicious," Luciel said in agreement.
He hadn't eaten pork ribs yet for the past few days of coming into the world.
So when he heard it from Treyton, his appetite was also awakened; unfortunately, he still had to wait until dinner before he could eat pork ribs.
Treyton opened his room, and both of them went in.
Luciel saw that the room was a bit bigger than his room, but the layout and design were almost the same.
"Where's your medical kit?" Luciel asked after looking around.
"It is in that cabinet," Treyton said while pointing at the cabinet on the right side of the bed.
Luciel opened the cabinet and saw a complete medical kit in it.
"Why aren't you taking your clothes off?" Luciel asked as he saw Treyton just sitting on the sofa.
"Why don't you help me take them off? I'm injured, you know," Treyton requested while still smiling a bit.
Luciel raised a brow because it's very clear that Treyton could still move his hands to remove his clothes, but he still complied with doing it.
With his $1 million bonus, it wasn't really a difficult request.
He removed Treyton's blazers and saw that his white shirt was already soaked with blood.
It just wasn't noticeable when he was wearing blazers because he was still wearing arm guards.
He removed his shirt and armguards and saw that it was a gunshot wound.
"I didn't know big bosses like you were in such dangerous situations. You aren't doing anything illegal, are you?"
Treyton was involved in the entertainment industry and other commercial businesses.
Even though there might be rivalry with others, it shouldn't be that serious for them to kill each other.
He also knew that Treyton had a lot of bodyguards, but he hadn't seen any of them with him today.
"Don't worry, I am not involved in anything illegal. Why are you going to report me?" Treyton asked teasingly.
"Of course, I will report you. That's why you better be telling the truth. It would be a pity to report," Luciel said while preparing the things he needed to treat Treyton's wound.
"Did you fall for me already?" Treyton asked cheekily with a wide smile on his lips.
Luciel rolled his eyes at Treyton and said, "Of course not. I just think it's a pity that I won't be getting any allowance from you anymore."
"Can't you just agree that it was because of me?" Treyton asked in an unhappy tone; however, Luciel could see that he wasn't even unhappy about it.
"You are indeed handsome; that's why I agreed with the contract. However, don't expect me to fall for you. I don't believe in such things," Luciel said while cleaning the flowing blood in Treyton's arm.
In the past seven years, he had already experienced a lot of betrayals and nearly died because of them.
He had also seen a lot of people say they loved someone but throw them out as shields when they faced monsters or sell them to others for food.
He also saw a lot of people saying they love others, but they were just using them to get food or other benefits.
If it were seven years before, he might still have fantasies about such things; however, after living in such a disastrous place for seven years, all of them have already vanished.
