Inside an old tower in a bustling city, a boy who is of ten name days old, with white hair and red eyes, looked to be bored out of his mind. He was looking through the window of the tower, watching the bustling port. Looking down, the boy traced the links on his collar, there a dozen links in his chain ranging from black iron to Valyrian steel. Chuckling as he saw one of the Maester look at him and speak to another in hushed whisper, the boy thought to himself 'I'll be leaving this place right now, so you don't have to be so scared around me. Well no one can hold a candle to me for achieving twelve links in the chain within one year, it is historical after all for a young man who is past ten name days to achieve this record. I am sure that these guys will write up wild stories in the future after knowing that I have left the Citadel. Tomorrow is the day that these guys have decided to give me the position of a Maester, for that I will have to take an oath, but my aim in coming here has been completed. Now I have all the knowledge stored in here and it's time to return home. I hope mother, father and sister are okay, I'm sure that Fenrir and Fenris are in the hunting dimension with their wolf pack.'
Shaking his head, he climbed down the stairs while greeting some maesters whom he passed by. Exiting the Citadel through the main gates and went straight to the port. On his way, he passed through some dark alleys to shake of the tail he had when he exited the Citadel. After making sure that there were no one following him anymore, he entered another dark alley and came out after few seconds. But this time, the boy was taller than before and stood six feet tall, instead of white hair and red eyes, now he had black long hair and bright grey eyes. His attire had also been changed, instead of the dress that he wore in Citadel he was wearing black pants and tan tunic shirt.
The man then started to go in a different direction passing by the soldier who had been following him while walking as one of the small folk. He went ahead and bordered a cart, which was part of the caravan that was departing from the Oldtown to the North containing this years supply for the North. There were twenty one unknown men including the boy who looked like a man, in the caravan who were unarmed but looked dangerous to engage in a fight. They all had the hardened look on their faces indicating that they were Northmen, so the caravan owner didn't mind them tagging along while they were giving him enough gold for the trip.
When the caravan started to move, the young man closed his eyes seemingly going to sleep. But instead of sleeping the young man was going through the his memories of past eight years 'Six years in the North sharpening my skills in battle and mind, playing with Alys along with the dire wolves Fenrir, Fenris, Snow who had bonded with Alys, Coal a black furred wolf bonded with my father, Morning a black and white furred wolf bonded with my mother, Dawn with grey fur and amber eyes, Winter with grey eyes and grey fur, Knight with black fur and grey eyes. It was fun to be around those pups, and they all love me too even though they had bonded with my family. The pack was excited as they got their own den after I requested father to built one in Winterfell, inside the Godswood itself.'
Flashback:-
The builders had construct the den in the Godswood as per the orders of Brandon and the design for that was given by Reagan. Looking at the building that had been constructed Brandon asked his son who was standing next to him "Are you sure that this will be enough for the pack?"
The building was round in shape and could contain only a dozen of dire wolves inside it. Smiling at Brandon, Reagan said "It's enough for the pack for now, you don't have worry about that. I am going to show you tomorrow why I had been cooping up in my room for a whole week."
"Are you now?" Brandon asked while chuckling.
Glancing at his father, Reagan said "You have already seen what the runes can do with the heating stones and other things I have given you."
"You are right, and I am looking forward for what you are going to show me." Brandon told his son with a smile, then patting on his head he continued "Don't overwork yourself, play with Alys form time to time, she's been following you around on Snow. Can't believe that she had passed her fourth name day."
"Isn't that a good thing?" Reagan asked back, to that Brandon replied "It is." Sighing he continued "What are you going to name it? Wolf's Den is already taken, for your information."
"How about Royal Den?" Reagan asked with a smile on his face.
"Only the dire wolves bonded with our family will be in there, so I see it fitting. Good choice son." Nodding at the name Brandon continued "Well, then. I'll be leaving you to your own devices."
Saying so, Brandon went back to the keep and cracking his fingers Reagan entered the building with sone carving tools. Inside he saw stable like structure and he nodded at that 'They have done as I have asked.'
At the opposite end of the entrance was a cave that goes downward. Reaching there, he said "Open the Hunting Dimension."
*Ding!*
[Do you want to assign this cave as the Permanent Gate to the Hunting Dimension?]
"Yes, I want to assign this cave the permanent gate." Reagan said.
*Ding!*
[Permission received!
Forming the permanent gate!]
Suddenly a blue portal started to shimmer into existence and it started to integrate with the cave. A few seconds later, he saw the cave as a normal one and didn't see any gate formed there. Right then, the notification started to come again.
*Ding!*
[Permanent Gate has been formed.
The gate have integrated with the cave, due to the integration no one but the user and the animals permitted by the user and their descendants can see and enter the cave.
This is a form of security measure.
The hunting dimension will be operational even after the death of the user.
But it will stop if there are no Fenrir species left in the world.
Every animal who are bonded with descendants of the user will be able to hear the their bond from anywhere in the world.
The installation of permanent gate is finished. The system will be shut down.]
"Fweeee." Reagan whistled as he heard all that and he was impressed by the details given by the system.
Shaking his head, he said to himself "Now it's time to carve the runes into this building. Preservation rune, self repare rune, temperature control rune, protective runes, calming runes and plenty more. Since the building is inside the Castle, I can just divert a small amount of magic into this building so that this would last for thousands of year in to the future."
Reagan started carve the rune of protection on the walls of the building, after that he craved the rune of preservation and went on like that. After a day full of craving into the building, Reagan smiled as he observed his work. Sitting down after wiping off the sweat that had formed on him, he concentrated his senses to the maximum and waking up his dormant magic, he started to power the runes. The runes started to glow in blue shade, from the first one he carved to the last one, and it took him the whole night to power all those runes. The effect was immediate as Reagan felt the temperature in the den lowering to the point where the dire wolves will be comfortable with.
Breathing in and out, Reagan said to himself "If my body was not an enhanced one then I might have died already. But, I did succeed in finishing my work in here." Looking around he continued with a smile "Father and mother will be surprised after seeing this tomorrow."
