Kael strolled down the local town market; it was the same market he had brought Jacquelyn to in the past and given her a stolen bun. The memory of her guilt-creased face replayed in Kael's mind; she was hungry, yet she had wanted to cuss him out for making her eat a stolen bun.
"Master, do you remember there?" Ballister, who was a step behind Kael, asked, "It was there we met the princess that night...she thought you were an abusive father," the young boy smiled.
